8PCS Leather Half-Round Cutter Punch Leather end Punch for DIY Craft Handwork, 0.2-1.57 inch

These punches are relatively well made and are easily used. They are very sharp and punch holes easily into leather of at least a four ounce thickness. The only issues that I have for them is that they have sharp edges in places where they should not be and that they rust. The rusting can be remedied with a small amount of Rem Oil or other light oil and a small file used to knock sharp edges down where they should not be. I recommend them and would buy more if needed.

I got these to use when I need to make gaskets for small engine repairs. They work great as you can see in the picture. I did improve the sharpness of the one I used for the gasket in the picture by touching it up on my shop grinder. I can’t attest to how well these would work for leather but, they’re excellent for making holes in gasket materials.

They punch OK but are very sharper on the side grooves than the actual cutting end. Be careful.

I like these because they are all different sizes. I have used 3 of them so far and they have not rolled over or collapsed. I would recommend these to anyone looking for good leather punches. A really good value for the money.

Bought these mainly for the 1.5mm punch for stiching holes on a plague doctor mask and they worked great for every thing. Only thing I would change is maybe some cross hatching for grip

Received these February 13, was initially impressed by how sharp they were straight out of the package and how they maintained that edge. I use these on an almost daily basis, particularly the 1MM & .5MM and always on a punch board. The .5MM just failed on the 3rd of April. As indicated by the photo the punch completely snapped off at the base. All in all I’d say they were a decent value, this may be a fluke and I just received a bad one time will tell. I would recommend these for the casual user, not for the person who relies on them for daily use.

I'm using these for the first time and I'm very pleased with the quality and ease of use. I hope they stay sharp.

I like the punches but one, 4.5, was chipped on the cutting edge. Not happy about it but they were cheap enough and it’s not a size I will be using much, if at all. Old saying is “you get what you pay for”.

Most punches were not sharp enough to cut the leather 😞

I purchased these on Aug 15 and opened them today Sep 26. Dull at best and best, if I had not exceeded the return timeframe, they would be going back!

My set arrived totally rusted and one punch was bent in the shipping. The steel is really soft. They are not worth the time it takes to clean them and sharpen them. They may be used as paper weights...
