Good value and works fine; needs an air valve for full functionality
A good value for money, but it really needs an air valve to be fully functional. These values are readily available from Amazon and I suggest ordering the at the same time (and the valve does not need to close completely - this is an addition to the tool's control).Caveats:- the paddle control is way to sensitive to be useful, at least for me- the air valve I purchased has the valve right at the base, of the tool where it was too easy to bump with the bottom of my hand, thus the 3-star 'ease of use rating'. It's very easy to use the tool full-on, but I found virtually impossible to control the speed with the on-tool control.- the discs (2") are very small, with a correspondingly small surface area. So I used up the disc extremely quickly. This isn't a criticism of the tool, it's just a note that if you're doing more than a small job you'll want to purchase lots of extra discs, and preferably good quality ones.- This does use a moderate volume of high-pressure air; I can't see this working well with e.g. a pancake compressor.I also read the reviews about overheating the discs and wrecking them. They heat quickly so take it easy and check them. I found the sanding discs tended to shift a bit in use, exposing the edge of the backing pad. I suspect this is routine.Overall, I used this to refinish car wheels and it worked great. The wheels were old and corroded and this save LOTS of work and sore fingers. Oil regularly while using and I'm expecting it'll last a long time with my very limited DIY use. It doesn't appear to be professional quality, but a good value. I think the disk backing is also a non-standard size so this might require some effort to replace when they wear out.

Mi opinión cuenta
Ma agradó el poder pulir áreas pequeñas con mucha comodidad. No es costo efectivo porque el compresor de aire continuamente se activa . Para detailing conviene más uno eléctrico

Good bang for your buck
I purchased this to rehab my sun damaged headlights on my Mercedes. It worked great! See the before and after pix. It's super easy to use, easy to handle and I can't imagine a better value for the price. There are no directions so I had to Google how to tighten the sanding head to the gun, but after that...all good.

Broke almost immediately
The collar broke 1st day I used it. I guess it's hit or miss on these. I would pay more to get a better product but it looks like they are all the same.

Great tool for the money
I polish aluminum on semi trucks and needed something smaller for the harder to reach areas and recently bought an electric polisher that was the same size but it just wasn’t powerful enough. This one has more power than I need. It does the job effortlessly and without bogging down. Easy to operate and with no more vibration than to be expected. It is a great tool for the money.

Works great, super value
Super value. I use this several times a week and it has held up well. The speed control can be a little flaky at times but compared to units that cost 3-4 time more, I am very happy with it.

Its ok - but not great
Tried it for 30-60 minutes with various grits and it is fair. Pad/foam quality is iffy and that directly affects how the paper performs. The advertised "speed control regulator" is the same slotted head air flow control that you see on many air tools. It throttles the RPMS slightly but in no way, shape or form has the same type of control that an inline add-on regulator has. This one effectively gives you 2 speeds and the slower one is hardly noticeable. You get what you pay for and this may be suitable for occasional use. Definitely not pro quality and it is going back to Amazon.
