I bought this Hyundai air compressor mainly for DIY jobs, tyre inflation and occasional air tool use around the house. After using it for a while, I have been really impressed with both its performance and convenience. It feels like a quality piece of equipment from the moment you unpack it. What impressed me most is the power. The 550W motor provides more than enough performance for the tasks I have used it for, and the compressor builds pressure quickly. It handles inflation jobs with ease. For home users, the power feels more than adequate. I also really like the cable length. The power cable is long enough to provide reasonable flexibility when working around the garage or workshop without constantly needing extension leads. It makes moving around much easier. That extra convenience is something I appreciated straight away. Another thing I noticed is how quiet it is compared to many compressors. The lower noise level makes it much more comfortable to use indoors. Conversations can still be held nearby without shouting. That alone makes it stand out from other models. The build quality also feels very good. The materials are solid and durable, and despite being lightweight, it doesn't feel cheaply made. Everything seems well assembled. It gives confidence that it will last. The compact size is another advantage. It stores easily when not in use and can be moved around without much effort. The carrying handle is useful as well. Portability is definitely one of its strengths. I have used it for inflating tyres, cleaning dust from equipment and running small air-powered tools. The performance has been reliable every time. The pressure remains consistent throughout use. It has handled everything I needed without issue, I am very happy with this compressor. The combination of good power, practical cable length, quiet operation and solid build quality makes it excellent value for money. It is ideal for DIY users. I would definitely recommend it.

So quiet and perfect for my needs. I only needed a compressor for pumping up tyres and balls and cleaning filters so this is perfect The compressor is quiet when running and refills quickly. The tank isn't huge so off you need to use for extended periods and often a larger tank would be beneficial. It's seems durable and well made and for the price you can't go wrong. I didn't realise it came bare without pipes or attachments so had to make sure I ordered some with the right connection type. The instructions couldn't be simpler, attach filter plug it in turn it on.

There are a lot of options for compressors of this size and type but I am pleased with the choice I made. It's powerful for a compact machine and fits neatly under my workbench. As it has two cylinders, this compressor halves the workload of alternative single cylinder models I've used and is subsequently much quieter whilst managing to produce consistent air pressure. I use mine mainly for airbrush painting and it's more than capable. I suspect it will easily drive much harder working tools than this without issues. Operating it is simple with well presented controls and easy to read gauge. The large air tank also eases the workload on the cylinders further reducing any noise as it isn't running constantly to feed your air tools. It's clear this compressor is well made, feels like good quality and definitely does what I wanted it to do and more. To me this represents really good value from a well known brand, it arrived quickly, very well packaged and without issues. I'd happily recommend this machine especially for use inside, where portability, power and quiet operation is important. A good buy!

After much research looking to upgrade an older Draper diaphragm compressor and looking at compressors with tanks, I settled for this Hyundai 5508 model. Low noise and an 8 litre tank would be perfect to run my airbrush. I have opened the box and read the instructions, assembly just requires a rubber tube to be put into an air filter and the air filter to be wound in to the compressor housing, and that's it, it's ready to go. Instructions for use are clear and within minutes I was ready to switch on to test. Turning on the unit I was pleasantly surprised at how quiet it is for its size and it happily went to 7 bar of pressure before automatically cutting out ready to use. Air being used, the compressor will kick back in at just below 4 bar to start filling the tank again. From empty to full only takes less than a minute. A small screw valve at the bottom of the tank empties the air when turned for finishing using it. Pressure can be regulated down to lower settings by adjusting a screw inside the switch housing, but this for me will make the compressor work more often the lower the pressure is set, so I need to buy a small regulator to fix to the air outlet that allows me adjust the air pressure to 4 bar. For Airbrushing this is perfect, you wont be disappointed, so far hooking it all up it works brilliantly. Other compressors for the same price only have a 3 litre tank, whereas this has 8 litre. Highly recommended for the hobbyist or Artist.

I purchased this asap replacement air compressor, it is excellent. Especially the sound! Which is extremely low in contrast to my previous compressor. This can be used indoors for long periods, with little noise pollution.

Compressed air is the best air. And this compact compressor from Hyundai fills an important niche in the market. I don’t need compressed air often. And when I do, I don’t need a lot of it. But for those instances this well made little unit really ticks all the boxes It’s super quiet. It’s also small and light enough to be easy to store and carry around. More than enough power and capacity to top up car and motorcycle tyres. Add a blow gun and it makes short work of all sorts of cleaning tasks. Also good for light finish nailing and stapling. Not designed or intended for heavy duty industrial use. If you’re spraying paint or doing construction nailing you’ll need a bigger compressor. But this lovely little unit from Hyundai will keep your car tyres at perfect pressure and do a sterling job at dust removal without deafening you or annoying the neighbours. Five out of five for its intended purpose.

I bought this for a staple gun for upholstery. It’s great. Easy to use (I watched a video online) & quiet. I use it indoors in my dining room. For my staple gun I find that once it’s reached pressure (a couple of minutes) it turns itself off & will only come on again once I’ve done quite a few staples. It comes back on for about 30 seconds to reach pressure again & then goes quiet. Easy to move around - the handle is great & it’s small enough to store under the stairs. I did see a review where one chap had 2 that arrived damaged (a bit dented). I checked mine & noticed the filter was a bit dented. I contacted Hyundai via Amazon & their customer service was excellent. They sent a new filter immediately & I think it arrived the next day. The electric cable is really short but I think it’s for safety reasons. So it needs to be placed right near a plug. But if you get a long air hose it’s fine as the hose moves with you around what you’re doing. Really pleased with this as a first compressor for my upholstery.

This is a fantastic little item. It is well made and powerful, for its motor size and more than meets my needs. The pump is extremely quiet and runs at about 70 decibels and the price is extremely competitive. I'm very impressed by the quality, price and fast delivery (came on the second day).

I like it’s quietness and compactness, but if you run tools on it like sanders or impact wrench, the compressor might run continuously and hot. I bought it for upholstery staple gun which works fine. I received it with a damaged air filter and hope that the seller will send me another filter. All in all, I am happy.

اول شي وصلني الكرتون في حالة سيئة واضح من الكرتون ان الشحن كان سيئ للغايه الكرتون متمزق من بعض الزوايا الفلين الداخلي متكسر ايضا من معاينة المكونات يتضح ان بعض الاجزاء تعرضت لضغط اثناء الشحن مما ادى الى اعوجاجها بالتحديد الراس الذي فيه مقياس الضغط ايضا قد يخطر ببالك ان مشكله اعوجاج المكونات قد يكون من تجميع القطع اثناء التصنيع بحيث تشعر ان من ركب هذه القطع اشخاص عاديون جدا وليسو متخصصين في تركيب وتجميع القطع الصناعيه (يوجد ميول في تركيب مسامير تجميع المحرك وميول في القاعده وميول ايضا في الاغطيه البلاستيكيه ) واكبر دليل على ذلك هو طريقة وضع اللواصق الارشادية فقد تم وضعها باستهتار مطلق على القطع حتى اسم شركة هوندي تم طباعته على الخزان بشكل مائل للاسفل وهو منظر مخزي اذا كانت الشركة المصنعه فعلا هي هونداي لاني اشك في ذلك يوجد تسريب في الراس المركب في الخزان يمكن ان يفقد الخزان كل الهواء المضغوط خلال ساعه واحده فقط بدون استخدامه المحرك يسخن بعد ثلاث دقائق تقريبا لو استمر التشغيل وسحب الهواء بشكل مستمر صوت المحرك مزعج لو اخذنا في الاعتبار وصف البائع انه صامت ولا يحدث ضجيج مثله مثل المحركات الاخرى المتوفره بالسوق بعض الشركات توفر منظم ضغط مركب على راس التشغيل هنا لا يوجد منظم اذا كنت ستعمل على البخاخة الهوائية عليك شراء منظم مستقل الخلاصه انه منتج عادي جدا يشابه الشركات التي لا تملك علامه تجارية مميزه هذه الصفقة كانت مخيبة للامال حقيقة ساطالب البائع بارسال كرت الضمان والا ساظطر الى ارجاع المنتج
