It holds paper towels well. Sturdy. I can rip one off without a problem. Tho, if I do put too much strength into it, I can throw it around lol. The one I had before this was marble and heavy, so if the one you had before was super heavy just note that you don’t have to go at it as hard. If you’re looking for a cute addition to your kitchen go for it!

Cute but dysfunctional
The stand is super cute but it doesn’t fit a new roll of paper towels and moves around when trying to tear a piece of paper towel off. Ultimately had to return but wish the bottom circle was bigger and weighted down.
