how big are the tool ends - how wide are the spoons, scraper and picks?

The spoons are abt 5/16” long. The spoon tapers from stem to tip. At tip it’s 1/4” wide. The scraper heads are 1”1/4 long and 1/4” wide; one tapers to a point. The pick head is abt 5/16” from stem to a fine point tip.

do you not have heavy duty solid stem labware. are all your labware cheap stamped stems. useless?

Forgot to describe the larger spoons… The smaller end is 1” 7/16 from the end of the stem to the tip of a spoon; it’s just about a 1/2” at its widest part in the middle. The bigger end is abt. 1” 3/4 long, end of stem to tip of spoon, and 3/4” wide in middle. The stem is abt. 5/16”wide and quite strong but if you intentionally try to bend it you probably will.

If you know the density of the substance you are trying to measure, you can calculate the volume based on how many mg of the substance you are looking to measure to find your answer. Based on the size of the micro-spatula, I would estimate it holding approximately 100-200mg of salt.
