Got a nice value pack for what most places wanted to just sell the camera for.
My son is just getting into photography as a media communication major in college. His professor recommended this oldey but goodey model because of the built in stabilizer (he has light essential tremors). He loved it. Its expected that some or all of the extras in a bundle like this might be of lower quality, but he was particularly impressed with the tripod. All in all, happy camper.

For the price it's almost a steal!
This item comes with 3 lense filters, a camera bag, an adjustable small tripod, memory card, photoflash, and 2 extra batteries? That should bring the price of the package a alot higher than what it is! And I'm glad it's not. I've been studying and learning how to take manual video shots and photo shots with this camera and sadly can't do the pictures justice without Adobe Lightroom for my RAW photos but the JPEG does well enough when the pictures are taken in 4K. The camera also can take uncompressed 1080p 60fps videos which is pretty impressive but sadly only mp4 format in 4K. All in all this is a great starter for profitable business especially with the lense filters and flash! I recommend this camera to anyone starting off less you would rather have a DSLR camera than a mirroless.

Good Bundle overall. BUT DO NOT BUY THE $50 THREE YEAR COVERAGE. .
The bundle is good overall. Camera works well. Backpack is cheap material but does the job. The light is useful for extra camera flash but NOT for video. Tripod works well. The Wasabi Power extra batteries and charger do work for the camera. BUT DO NOT PURCHASE THE 3 YEAR PROTECTION PLAN. Panasonic already has a 3 year warranty in the camera box. You can register online for that instead of wasting your money on the plan offered. Overall worth the money and the camera is fantastic.

So far, I love this camera.
I've had this camera for a few weeks, and so far, I love it. I wanted features like a flip-out screen and unlimited recording time (limited only on space), and I didn't want to spend thousands. This camera checked my boxes.I did realize right away that I wanted an external power supply, which I purchased. I have a lapel mic that causes a buzzing sound when the AC adapter is in use. That doesn't bother me much, because I usually record sound through my computer, and if I use the lapel, I will probably be using battery power. The lens that comes in the kit works fine for me. I am not a photographer--I use it as a webcam for a YouTube channel. I use the clean HDMI out port to a USB adapter and record to my computer. One thing the developers should look at (and maybe did) is that it is somewhat irritating to have the mic and HDMI out ports right in front of the flip-out screen. It's hard to reach all the buttons on the screen. However, I find myself using the flip-out screen less because the wifi connection is awesome. I can sit in my spot and use my phone to make some changes and do the focusing. It's also great to take "selfies" to use for YouTube thumbnails. You're not going to find a better camera in this price range, in my opinion. The kit I bought also had a small tabletop tripod and a total of three batteries and two chargers. There were a couple other things (like some lens filters and a flash) that I haven't even opened yet. It's not the highest end camera I suppose, but for $700 I'm very pleased with it.

Extremely inaccurate preview
This camera is truly a waste of money. My phone, sadly, takes far better photos than this camera and is significantly easier and faster to use. The preview shows a clear, bright picture, but the image or video that is actually recorded is several stops darker than the preview. Several stops. Not a little darker. Several stops darker. In 20+ years of photo and video work, I have never seen a camera perform so poorly nor a preview so inaccurate to the actual recording. Run far away from Panasonic Lumix cameras if you want an accurate preview.

The camera I was looking for.
I'm not a professional nor am I a rookie when it comes to taking pictures. I've had my fill of point and clicks so I stepped up my game. Panasonic has always been a favorite of mine in the point and clicks so I knew there setup to some degree, this gave me one less thing to learn when upgrading to a larger camera. I was able to focus on the dynamics of image capture. The settings are easy to understand adjust. The presets are also amazing to use. The 12-60mm lens was perfect for my first outing with this camera and it didn't disappoint. I purchased the package for the add ons with the batteries being the main thing. You'll need them.

Great camera for pictures and video
Exactly what I was looking for. Works well for video. Just need to find a good wide angle lens now. Extra batteries are a plus.

Still my favorite Lumix
I lost my G7 last year on a trip to Hong Kong. I have been looking for a replacement and found this one and G9. Due to the price difference, I picked up G85. Well, the improvement compared to G7 is obvious. I just love Lumix series. It definitely worth the package price even though it is a 3 years old model, for me, it is still better than some of current competitors.
