I bought a smaller Furman unit to protect my water ionizer unit from Power spikes and voltage drops and it's been working very well. I purchased this unit to protect a small but extensive computer setup with multi monitors and sensitive processing equipment. This will not be used in a conventional sense but will basically be protecting the rig I built for coding and programming. The unit is unique in that it has dual LED lights which can be turned on or off, dimmed, and pulled out and repositioned. This is not a feature I will actually be using but it is a nice one to have for things I may come up with in the future. Calming blue and green lights (I find red to be too intense for something that has to be on the entire time I’m working. Satisfying “click” when it powers up. I’d rather just have “recording” lights be red). I especially like that the rear lamp’s power switch is actually on the rear of the unit. It’s amazing how many other power conditioners out there put the switch on the front. Many times with those other conditioners I’d squeeze to the back of my setup only to realize that I forgot to switch the rear lamp on from the front. And/or after working I forgot to turn it off once I squeezed back to the front because not seeing the lamp in both instances puts the power switch out of my mind. I have 2 of these and will be getting a 3rd eventually.
