This is a nice set of brass rivets that work perfectly if you follow directions which are simple. I like the variety of finishes on the rivets to match or replace existing ones. Have strengthened some knives sheaths. Excellent. Thanks

I could go on and one about why everyone should have a set like this! I personally use them all the time from replacing one from my jeans or a jacket. I also have a side business where I rehab/restore luxury handbags—these are a must in this business! Rivets are the most common pieces that fall off a bag and need replacement. This set is perfect! It has all the right colors and sizes. They’re easy to install and look great. They don’t stand out at all against older pieces.

I haad a brand new belt, only a couple weeks old, where the rivet holding the buckle in place broke. Making a $80 leather belt useless after only using a few times. I don't know if it was bad luck or bad hardware. Determined to not be out that money, I set out to repair the belt. I bought this set because it had various sizes and colors to have on hand for other needs. Picked out the proper size and color I needed and set the rivet in place. I did have a bit of a first time user issue where I didn't get the rivet fully compressed. It failed after the first use, but again, user error not product quality. Second time I got it set properly and it held, but it seemed like it wasn't the most secure. I did notice that another belt I have was double riveted and this one was single riveted. I had just enough room to make another hole. It is now double riveted, feels sturdier and has lasted through multiple uses. I feel confident that I won't have any trouble with this belt until it is worn out and time for new.

Beginner friendly kit with a user manual included. Installing rivets has its learning curves but this kit makes it easier since it comes with what you need to get started. One thing I wish wouldn’t have happened was that the cutting mechanism is very fragile it bent on the first use. With that in mind you have to have other tools as back up to make the piercing for the rivet post to get through the material. Which might not be a deal breaker for most crafty people since we are collectors of things and might be prepared for an issue like that. With that said I think it’s a really great kit to get started with since it’s at a great price and the rivets look great once installed.

Worth the purchase and fixed the problem...

These came up when I searched for snap fastener kits. I didnt realize these are just rivets. Yes, I know the title says it which is why I'm giving 5 stars. Looks like a nice kit, just not what I need.

Worked like a charm! I love the different sizes and the instructions were super easy to follow. Now for just a few dollars I was able to not only repair, but I can also maintain my passport book cover. Should one of my world tokens fall off again. I’m so happy with this. The material fills the same as what was used to initially create the cover and install the tokens. And it’s thick enough to get through the passport book, even with the token. The size matched what was already present. I couldn’t be happier!

I bought this rivet set to be used in bag making. I suppose if I was just making bags out of cotton fabric, with little to no weight, they'd work fine, but I use faux leather, vinyl, cork, canvas and these are just not strong enough in most cases. They are fine for accents here and there, but not so much for functionality. They are easy enough to use once you get the hang of it. The amount and variety of rivets you get for the price you pay is "too good to be true." I should have heeded that warning! That said, I think it would make a great set for projects that don't require a strong hold.
