I found a video on YouTube of someone else that installed this skimmer in a Bestway above ground pool. We have an 18 foot Bestway soft sided pool. The video I found helped with what to do and not to do with installing this cause once you cut a hole in the liner there is no going back. We connected everything and tried to use an extra rubber seal that we had but it was leaking water and the jet connection. So we did have to go to Lesley pool supply and buy a $12 adapter kit cause we needed another rubber seal to go inside the connector to the jet and we bought a hose clap a Home Depot to secure the hose to the connector under the skimmer box. We also used plumbers tape on the treads. We capped the original water intake hoses and I zip tided it to the pool post because when it was laying on the ground it leaked but elevated like in the photo there is no more leaking. Once done we had no more leaks and the skimmer is amazing. I empty the skimmer basket every day cause we have a lot of trees plus bugs. It’s amajow much it collects and helps keep the pool clean. I highly recommend this just make sure you have everything you need before starting and if your pool is already filled you will need to drain it below the jet.

Working great. Here's a tip. Since the screws are self tapping thread then in first then take them out then attach to the pool. Will save you a lot of time trying to start the thread from the pool

This is a great skimmer box. It was the exact fit with the bonus extra fittings and shipped very quickly. The basket that goes inside the skimmer box ended up being broken. However I contacted the company and they sent a replacement skimmer basket in a couple days. Great company and product.

Only issue was not quite same size as original due to pool being too old, made it work and all is good
