Great handy reference to have on the go.
I had this when I was an intern/beginning nurse. I carried it in my cargo pocket for on-the-go use. I just got this for my niece, who’s also a Peds nurse. The new version feels more substantial, like the pages are more sturdy. Nice little reference to have if you’re just starting out or new to Peds.

Okay for nursing students.
This guide is fine for nursing students or those that sit at a desk all shift. Not much help for a practicing nurse, especially in the ED. There are maybe 50 of the 315 pages of information that are useful to my job. The problem is sifting through the other 265 pages to get to what I’m looking for.
