These lights are great, but there are a few things to note. 1. They don’t stay on unless it is dark outside. They will turn on to let you know that they work, but they will flash off after a few seconds. Mine didn’t have directions nor a remote in the box so I had to figure that out the hard way which means. Trying to make them work incessantly until the sun went down. Then realizing there is a sensor that prevents you from wasting the energy that you stored up from the sun... while the sun is still out. Smart, yet a little frustrating. Would have been great if there were directions in the box.

We get compliments from our neighbors all of the time about the cozy, classy ambience these lights create on our deck railing. Our deck is transformed into a waterside resort and the temperature of the lights mimics soft candle light.

Ordered first strand in July, liked it so much I ordered a second stand a week later. Two months later both have died.UPDATE: Sept. 27, 2019. Contacted dealer and they sent out two new solar panels right away. Switched them out and lights are working fine again. Thank you, A&L Lifestyle! Will post another update in a few months and give 5 stars is still working - or report if anything not performing well.Have changed rating form 1 star to 4. Will give 5 if lights continue to work for at least a year or more.

I've used many this company's products, and they're all fantastic. These solar lights, though, feel like a new level of quality. The solar control box just FEELS solid, well-made, sturdy. The extra batteries as back-up are a fantastic idea. I live in a very shady area, so solar garden lights haven't worked for me in the past. These work even if it's been cloudy all day. And, the light IS a very warm white.

EDITED: After A&L Lifestyles reached out to help support our issue, we were convinced that the device didn't work and were ready to move on. A&L Lifestyles were persistent and friendly, sending us another unit. This one worked and we are satisfied with the product and the professional customer service. We love the lights and would recommend to others!TL;DR: Device had faulty connection that turned off lights when we closed it, thought it was just that device, ordered replacement and had same problem. Would not recommend.We bought this product and were happy with the solar device, the length and quality of the lights. When we installed it with 3x AA batteries, the lights turned on and we closed the device, at which point the lights turned off. We assumed that the solar panel required charging and left it to charge the next day.We still had trouble having the lights stay on the following night: we open the device, turn off and on the switch, the lights would turn on, but as we closed the device (and sometimes got to the second lock), the lights would turn off. As soon as we opened the device again, the lights would come back on.Amazon's tech support was helpful to a degree. They advised us to remove the rechargeable battery, but forgot to mention that we need to remove these tiny screws holding the panel down because it held the battery in place. We left the screws slightly loosened once the battery was replaced, but this only worked for some time. Frustrated with the product, we opted to have it replaced, thinking it was a singular device problem.As it turned out, the replacement device has the same problem. I'm sending them both back and opting for a different product.

This was my third order of this product. I ordered the third one to complete the lights around my deck. The first two are working great. But this one has died, And this sensor is right beside the working one. Two out of three functioning products? Plus I must say stringing them is like unravelling cooked spaghetti... half way through putting them up you find theyvhave been coiled badly. But it is worth the effort if they work.

The lights were great until they failed in less than 12 months. I sent a replacement request to the seller and never heard back. The warranty says there is a 12 month warranty for any quality issues. SMDH And, Amazon says the window to request a replacement has closed, in less than 12 months. Why say there is a 12 month warranty and then not honor it? That's deceptive and just not OK. Shame on Asmader and on Amazon.

These worked all summer and then just stopped working completely. Waste of money, unless you just have money to spend on a six-month set of lights.(I see they are unavailable now, so I guess the vendor made their money and ran!)
