## Description

Wolfenstein brings the Nazi’s dark obsession with the occult to life with epic action and harrowing shooter combat. Use a powerful arsenal of both definitive and occult-enhanced Axis & Allied weapons to beat back a supernatural Nazi force that is full of surprises. You play as BJ Blazkowicz, a highly decorated member of the Office of Secret Actions (OSA). You are sent on a special mission into the heart of the Reich to investigate evidence that the Nazis may possess a new and mysterious power. While behind enemy lines, you discover the Nazis have done much more than develop a new toy. The Nazis are harnessing the power of the Black Sun through a dark parallel dimension called The Veil, in order to create a weapon of war-ending mass destruction. You are the only one that can stop them and save the world from their perverse domination.

Review: Fun though not Graphically strong - Wolfenstein is pure homage to the past and that's not a bad thing. The graphics aren't the greatest and I have to admit, it's a little disconcerting considering what could have been. However despite the graphics the game is pure Wolfenstein. BJ is one tough hombre who has no issue shooting Paranormal Nazi baddies in the face. The weapons feel powerful and once you unlock some of the upgrades they become Nazi stopping instruments of death. The time powers aren't new to the gaming world however I found myself using them when I remembered they were there. The game sets up moments where you must use them however, you can simply one through the game shooting first and taking names later. If you're in to exploring and finding every little collectible then the time powers are more important and you'll use them often. Also you must use them for the boss battles. The story is alright and I found myself simply rushing on for the shear purpose of killing another group of Nazi lunatics. I do have a few gripes about the game. These are few however they should be mentioned. The boss battles are too easy. You will find a time power and guess what, you will use that power on the very next boss. This process repeats until the end and guess what, you must use all of the powers to stop him. They cheapen this by adding phases and each phase requires one power. I feel that it would have required more skill if you had to constantly switch between powers to defeat him. Another complaint is the story. It falls short and all it does is provide a means by witch you aquire a time power and shoot Nazis. Now who really needs a reason to shoot Nazis, I know. However they could have created more of a story to suck you in. With such rich source material, the sky is the limit and with the standards of today, there really isn't any excuse. Overall, I found it enjoyable and it's worth a play through. I didn't get into the multiplayer portion but why should I with MW2 and BBC2 out there.
Review: Great FPS - This is a great FPS with a lot more to offer than your basic FPS. I get tired of games where you can't upgrade anything and can only carry 2 guns at a time. This game has plenty of weapons and some special abilities (like slowing down time), and you can upgrade both. The controls are wonderful and the graphics are pretty good, as well. It's not an 'open world' game but you can go back and forth through areas and pick the order of the missions you want to do. You can find gold and tomes, which you use for upgrades, and also intel and the upgrades themselves. The story is decent and characters are believable. Overall, it's kind of like a classic shooter with modern details and, for the lack of a better term, upgrades. It's a lot of fun and for a new copy it's usually pretty expensive now-a-days so grab it if you see it cheap. You won't be disappointed.

- The ability to battle with a diverse collection supernatural 'Veil Powers,' as well as Allied and Axis conventional weapons, all upgradable via an in-game black market.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WolfenStien Revisited
*by F***D on June 30, 2012*

This Game first came out in the 60s and 70s it was by ID then too the game was the Rave of the day until Doom Came out, This Current version Revisiting the Game in an Action Video Mode of the Games today, is up there with Borderlands and Captaian America although it's much more fluid than Captain America, the Game is an excelent remake and upgrade to the original gameplay is fluent in motion and fluid in gameplay and quite good, I enjoy this game very much as it is mission based not just the shooter the original was...Get it you'll love it...I bought it for the PS3
