Impressive package of goodies
The game itself is very buggy and unfinished as of this writing (the day after release) and most people agree that it wasn't ready for release, though the game is good and will be better once all these bugs are ironed out. This product itself, as in the physical thing you recieve, is very well put together. It comes with three very nice Cyberpunk themed postcards, a large map of the game world, a booklet explaining some of the main story points of the Cyberpunk world and a two-CD Cyberpunk 2077 soundtrack. This is why I always buy physical copies of games if they're available. For the same price that you'd pay on STEAM you also get all these goodies essentially for free. Going to pin those postcards on my wall with some of the other game related stuff like this that I have, they look great.

Worth every penny! Haters gonna hate
Everyone needs to stop crying about bugs with this game, there was so much pressure to have this game ready the developers deserve a frigging medal, beautiful game, so much detail. For every innovation they attempted that didn't quite hit the mark they have truly set the minimum standard for all future games to aim for. The first truly next gen game. I salute you

Say what you want, I loved this game
Minor bugs, nothing game breaking. Crashes did occur. Art style is gorgeous.

So many goodies along with the game. Nice
I wasnt to sure about this company at first but I take it all back, the package arrived on time for launch and also came with a poster and stickers and other fun things. The game code worked (although I did need to update my drivers in GeForce experience first) and I'm looking forward to playing after it has finished installing

Hugely Enjoyable Immersive Futuristic RPG - Amazing Experience
I really love this game and am so glad I decided to buy it, it was 24.99 (PC version) so had come down in price - after playing the Witcher series and absolutely loving the games, I had originally got this on pre-order, but when it kept being delayed I ended up cancelling. I then waited to buy it until patches had been released after the initial issues. I recently upgraded my laptop and this was the first game I installed on it. GOG installation can be very slow when you don't have fibre broadband so I had to leave this overnight to download and then installed the next day! There is no physical disc in the box, however there is a quite detailed booklet which is worth reading for background information, a CD of game music, some 'postcards from Night City' and a map poster, so not just an empty box containing a code. I actually wish I had had the money to buy the Special Edition box. The game does have some issues, occasional 'funnies' and the odd glitch but nothing that I have encountered so far has caused a major problem and the bugs are outweighed by the enjoyment of playing this huge, immersive, challenging and exciting game. The game has been a learning curve for me in many ways; playing first person for a start, as I always play third person view so I found this really awkward initially, the lingo and terminology, the cultures, the society's norms, finding out how to travel around, and for me especially the driving - which is usually a nightmare because I find it so very difficult. It's definitely worth it and all credit to the creators that I have persevered and driven all sorts of vehicles, although the supercars are particularly hard to control(!) and I do relish getting away with crashing into other cars, driving them off the road and then dumping my vehicle totally in the way of everyone and blocking busy junctions - superb for that rule breaking 'road rage' fantasy!! You can take any parked cars and it's great fun being able to carjack if you're stuck somewhere, you can just run up to a stationary vehicle on the road, kick out the occupants, take it for yourself and then dump it! You can also get knocked over if you run across a road and it's definitely a case of hit and run!The main quest line is fantastic, there is real tension and sense of urgency, the quality of the graphics is excellent (this is playing on an RTX machine), there are mini quests of different kinds, some problem solving, not all combat, all sorts of side quests, a massive map to travel around which gives info on which quests are low to high danger as well as other types of locations. There are also options for romance/relationship. My chosen character is a techie/hacker - this occupation was a mystery to me although I seem to be growing in my abilities and gaining more understanding of it. For instance it's fantastic being able to hack into surveillance cameras inside a target building and use my hacking powers to attack the bad guys from a distance when they don't even know where I am. Some of the weapons are also really cool, plus you can have implanted weaponry and enhancements installed in your body. The sound effects and music are excellent, as well as the voice acting, although I have to say that Keanu Reeves comes across a bit plodding in his lines at times. There are some great music tracks which help to boost the atmosphere of the environment and add another layer to the experience. It's a long game. I am about 30% of the way through and have played over 100 hours now. I broke away from the main storyline to focus more on side quests and improving my skills and abilities which I am doing, slowly. I like treasure hunting so I probably spend more time going round picking up loot and seeking rarities than other players might. I am playing on easiest mode because combat is not my strong point but I have improved and there are often options to sneak and hack systems rather than run in with all guns or fists blazing! I have had plenty of melee fights though and am getting better at surviving them, even though at one point I thought I would never do it - the game makes you try different and unexpected ways to find a solution and sometimes you can sneak in and out of a highly dangerous, massively guarded target location without any blood being spilled and get away unnoticed which is very satisfying. There's plenty of goodies and loot to be had which improves as you go along and vast numbers of weapons which can be modified and upgraded, as well as clothing. One amusing aspect is that skimpy vest tops and fashion items can be graded higher as armour than military gear! There is some nudity and sex and I had an odd weird clothing glitch for a while where my character was running around totally naked, somewhat hilarious! Some people find these things annoying and moan and gripe about how terrible it is but having played many many games I find it's better just to accept them as a side effect of a hugely ambitious programming feat and have a laugh about it, as long as it doesn't actually break the game of course. Games after all are for enjoyment and entertainment, some people do seem to take them rather too seriously and pick fault at every little thing. Some people may not like certain storylines or quests as they are definitely 18 certificate, so be prepared for a lot of bad language, violence and some repellent criminal activity - go into this with an open mind and expect to be shocked, surprised, revolted, and also amazed and taken aback by the scale of this sometimes awe-inspiring game. I hope CD Projekt keep making games and keep pushing the boundaries of RPGs. There is a freedom in the gameplay, and a realism that I've never experienced in a game before, and I've played a lot of RPGs but none quite like this. I suspect the next step for them may be VR.I'm so glad CD Projekt Red created this game and have continued to improve things. It's not totally bug free but then again what RPG is, and the creators are continuing to release updates and tackle issues, and so far I have not experienced anything that has made the game unplayable or broken. I highly recommend it, I get what they were trying to do, it's worth persevering - the story is driven expertly, motivating the player to take risks and find answers, with many options to interact with characters major and minor. Paired with the futuristic environment it's really easy to suspend your disbelief and become totally immersed in this strange and dangerous world - well done CD Projekt Red - keep it up!

Fantastic
I really do have sympathy for the console players and others having problems with the game, but I have had nothing but a fantastic time playing this. It's definitely met my expectations and it's a stunning looking game.

Good game
The game is quality, one of my favourites, but after a while my game or GOG app got corrupted and can no longer play the game regardless of what I do

I really enjoyed it
Despite the criticism, this game outgrew my expectative. I've only finished one ending and the main story line. I'll be starting it again to do more side quests and more endings.Don't pay too much attention to critics and try it for yourself.
