They look wonderful. Not to dim or to bright. Really brings out the beautiful colors in my fish.

Using this for a aquarium light. Getting nice plant growth. Get to about 10 gallons.

This bulb fit perfectly into my 10 gallon aquarium hood. According to my kill-a-watt meter it only draws 7 watts (not the 9 watts advertised) but the light is plenty bright for my aquarium (or rather, 1/2 of it, as I have a two bulb hood).The box the bulb came in makes it clear that this is just a standard LED lightbulb replacement, and it is NOT specifically rated for aquariums (the box says it is for indoor use only, and not for sealed lamps).

So bright, bigger than I had anticipated

This light overheats easily. It can warm your aquarium a couple degrees at least, so to combat that I would recommend not using it with an aquarium hood, but rather a suspended light fixture. The LEDs are extremely bright, however I don't believe it is the proper spectrum to grow live plants, not even the low light plants. I did not see the progress I was hoping for so I ended up switching to a different light fixture and got my desired results from my plants. I kept the lights and will do further testing with an open light fixture to prevent overheating, but I'm not sure I like these lights for my intended purpose. They are great lights if you only wish to brighten a tank, however the LEDs do come off with a blue tinge. 7/10

I would give these lights zero stars if it was possible. I wrote a review after owning for a week giving it five stars. However after owning the lights for a few months my opinion changed. They rust and break off in the socket. The rust likely dripped in my fish aquarium as well.
