Works Great!
This item works great for destroying the fire ant nest. Make sure to use in the morning or evening when the ants are foraging.

Safe solution for ants
Killed my ant problem quickly in my raised garden beds. A little goes a long way so I think it’s a good value. I feel safe sprinkling this on ant mounds in my yard where the chickens scratch and peck. No strong smell or odor.

Don’t get much . But like I said is the best nontoxic option I found that works pretty much.
It works, but sometimes the ants act like they don’t want it. And you have to apply exactly like it says don’t disturb the ants. Mostly I think it makes them move. I do see them carrying it into their nest. But it is the best nontoxic choice I found. and you do have to reapply it. It does kill them. I’ve seen them on the outside of the mound after applying dead.

Kill those fire ants!
It works! It took 72 hours and it killed 3 colony’s in my raised beds. Super happy I found something that is safe to use to kill these little boogers! It’s expensive, BUT it works without all the bad side effects! I don’t want poison in my foods. I feel safe using this! And the fire ants loved this stuff! Way to kill them safely!

Disappointed
I bought a couple of bags of this to use to get rid of fire ants around vegetables. The ants just scurry away with it and I have been using it for two weeks. This stuff is expensive.

50% working
Ok, it's been a few weeks now. I have reapplied three times and ants still not dead. I did find two more mounds, so I think they are moving under ground but it's not killing the queen ( i assume). What is happening is the dead ants are all over the top, like the hive is moving the dead ones out. Right now, I am super uber frustrated that this is NOT working on my fire ants. I still have hope, I even shoved some down the hole. I'll keep trying but I am stating to wain that this is the product I needed. Yes, I followed directions. Im in high desert area of Utah.

Good stuff.
Took out a big mound of big, red fire ants in just a couple days using a small amount as directed. Also worked on the tiny, brown sugar ants in my kitchen. I had to grind it up in a powder for that as the granules are quite large for them.

It works, I need to use it correctly.
1. I only use this in my vegetable garden. Outside of my garden in use much more lethal and potent ant killers.2. The outcome of a single application around an infested area is one of two. Possibly the colony is destroyed in one application. Possibly the colony is devastated but moves 5 to 10 feet away in far less numbers. A second application might destroy or move them again, but no single colony has ever survived a third application.3. New Fire ants colonies always emerge. Unless I can spread an in-the-ground fire ant poison, which I can’t do in our overly large garden, new fire ants will always take up shop. It’s a constant war to move and push the ants back out of our garden. This bait is not intended as a long term approach to keep fire ants away, it’s designed to be a localized colony killer. New colonies will always move to nice soil, and especially water.Additionally, this works better when the temps are higher. For its designed purpose, this product is outstanding and I love to watch the little boogers carry this stuff into their colony with delight.I live in Texas. Fire ants are a way of life here ever since their imported infestation really grabbed root.
