Just as expected. I won't have the fanciest costume, but it fits and is simple and comfortable. I had another, fancier, costume and it was very uncomfortable compared to this one. I found a cheap choker necklace that sets it off and a toy pirate hat I just happend to have at the house looked better on me than the scarf provided, but there is nothing wrong with the scarf. Will need a strapless bra...

I delivered my heart warrior baby days before Halloween. I love the holiday and always enjoy dressing up. Knowing ahead of time he would be hospitalized I planned costumes for us. Pirates. Cute costume for the price, thin material, white is see through. I wore a tan bra with white tank top under it. Great for a post partum mom (2 days) the black over the abdomen made me feel like my belly was slightly less noticeable, LOL ;)

My daughter wore this on a recent Disney cruise and loved it. She said it was really comfortable. The top is a bit sheer, but she just wore a white tank under it. It fit as expected. She’s 5’5” and around 125lbs.

Not a bad costume, however, the wrist elastic was way too tight for me. Also, the black band in the middle doesn't go all the way around the dress. The back is all white. If you have a longer torso, the black/white line may not hit you in the correct spot. I returned.

My daughter had a pirate theme for her 13th birthday, and I wanted a costume that was not revealing or uncomfortable. She is about 5'2" and weighs 85 lbs - very slim. I did safety-pin the neckline in back to make it more snug (bought the small). The hat is from another seller here on Amazon & it was great with it.Costume is not meant for multiple wears, I expect, so for one or two times, this fit the bill.

I was looking for an inexpensive costume to wear for a work Halloween party. This fit the bill. For reference I’m 5’5, 140 lbs, 34a and ordered a small. It just fit but would have gone with a medium if I had time to exchange it. However I did have a pirate vest, also purchased from amazon and it looked fantastic and I was very comfortable. I received many compliments. Recommended.

Although the costume fit me, there was no room to spare... and I am just 5'2", 118 lbs. The dress might be too tight in the bust and waist for others who would normally wear a small. The label says "do not wash" because the dyes are not colorfast. But I washed it in cold water with mild detergent and it was fine. Also, I wore a black t-shirt underneath because the material is thin and on the sheer side, and because I wasn't sure that the off-shoulder style would stay in place. The black t-shirt actually looked like it was part of the costume, and other people actually commented that they thought it was. All in all a good deal.
