My new favorite backpack.
My new favorite backpack. All in all, this is a large backpack. It might not look it from the pictures but I was able to fit my 13 inch laptop plus power cord and my 17.3 inch laptop plus giant power brick and still have room for other items. The side mesh pocket is larger than most and is able to fit my nalgene without any issues. For the design, I love the look and feel. The product seems durable and I know that other reviews have mentioned the zippers but I have not had that issue yet. I did find that the zipper for the flap to release the backpack straps is a little tricky at times but I primarily use it as a backpack, thus it does not bother me. There are 3 pockets on the front of the bag. The top is a zipper pocket and under the flap is a small pocket and a large zippered pocket. I do wish that there were more compartments within the pockets themselves as they are all large, open pockets. However, within the main compartment, there is a nice organization set of pockets and straps.I think this is a great pack for the price. It is large and comfortable to wear even when weighed down. I see this being a bag I use until it breaks at the seams.

Busted zipper
the bag was okay until the zipper busted. This conveniently happened after the return or exchange window.

I honestly love The Koolertron Canvas backpack
I honestly love The Koolertron Canvas backpack. I've had it for 3 weeks now, and literally have loaded to where it's a lil snug. It's absolutely durable and versatile. Did I mention it's durable? It withstands a lot and carries a lot. I can pack everything I need for school and more. I carry my 20 fl oz Umoro water bottle, 16 fl oz Starbucks thermos, some snacks, 1154 pg hardcover and 328 pg softcover Chemistry textbook, 967 pg Precalculus hardcover textbook, 809 pg Biology hardcover textbook, two small softcover textbooks, two calculators, pencil wrap case, 4 portfolios with prongs and Surface Pro. That's a load of things and this backpack withstands the weight. Now if only my back did the same ha. I have no tears or unwoven thread yet. I hope it lasts me for a good while. Though for only $40, it's a great backpack. I would recommend this product.

Great bag BUT bad zipper!
I would love to give a 5 star rating because I really like the bag but after only 2 months, my main zipper broke. The bag was never "overstuffed" so when the zipper starting coming apart and eventually broke I was surprised.

Under-dimensioned main zipper.
Really like the design, and the fact that it can be used both as backpack and shoulder bag. Neat. The one main complaint is that the zipper for the large compartment broke (the slider got disconnected) after four days of normal use. That part of the bag seems under-dimensioned for the wear and tear it will go through. The zipper is 'incorporated' with the bag, which means there is no way to reattach the slider. As the main compartment opens sideways, this makes the bag useless as a backpack.

The only negative i have for it is the fact that the main zipper sucks. The bag is built for heavy use
I've owned this backpack for over a year now. The only negative i have for it is the fact that the main zipper sucks. The bag is built for heavy use, but if you plan on using this thing for any real amount of time, you're going to need to learn how to replace a zipper. But it's just a 30 second youtube tutorial away from repair though. I've hiked 3 mountains, dozens of road trips, 20 comicons, camping, and day to day work grind and it's still my favorite bag ever.

Great bag, small zipper opening
Great backpack overall. The only recommendation I have is to add a side zipper for the laptop pouch as the laptop pouch is hard to access. It will only fit a max 14.5" laptop and you'll be working to get it into the pouch as the zipper is too small, otherwise it will fit great once you actually get it in the pouch. The main bag area can fit a good amount of stuff in it and has a good amount of pockets to organize. The secondary pouch is kind of a pain because of the flap and zipper. Overall I really like this bag, just wish they would fix the main zipper and laptop pouch access.

It has many pockets and storage places and the canvas is very sturdy. However
This backpack has been able to take backpacking and heavy school books very well! It has many pockets and storage places and the canvas is very sturdy. However, the inner fabric is a little bit on the thin side. This worries me because I feel like a pen pointing in the wrong direction could cause a tear. I keep my pens and lead pencils capped for this very reason. Other than the extra caution I have to take, it can take quite a heavy load and I absolutely love the style!
