BOSCH BC1041 QuietCast Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set - Compatible with Select Infiniti QX56; Jeep Commander, Grand Cherokee; Nissan Armada, Pathfinder, Titan; REAR

These were installed on a 2005 Nissan Titan. After an initial wear in period (approx 200 Miles) these have performed much better than expected. I have always done my own pad and rotor replacements in the past on over ten cars and trucks in my 30 plus years of owning vehicles. I am fairly proficient in auto repair and usually buy the middle priced products in the past. I researched these and they are a very comparably priced item However they seem to be manufactured much better than others purchased from local chain stores (Auto Zone, O'Riley). The coating or casting process on the rotors has them looking brilliant out of the box and now after about 4k miles have kept the silver shine to them. Pads have a heavier feel to them and look to be better manufactured or at least better inspected at the factory. Pedal feel is as firm as you would expect and during hard braking I have experienced no fade or slop. Safety being the primary concern I feel very confident in the durability of this product. As I did a 4 wheel brake job I am copying this review to the other brake parts I purchased and installed at the same time.

Good stuff. I put these on my 2004 Titan today and yesterday. Watch a few YouTube videos and it’s very doable to DIY. You’ll need to spend money on a torque wrench. - I was confused when ordering these because the product page said they fit my 04 Titan, but had a note “with Bosch calipers.” GOOD NEWS: these fit fine with my OEM calipers. - The Bosch pads come with mounting brackets and even a small packet of brake grease, which is cool. So far so good. I’ll post an update as needed. But I’m satisfied so far! For the price, you can’t beat these.

Installed on my 2005 Nissan Titan 4x4 Off Road. Replaced front and rear set. Installed them on a Thursday, and immediately pulled a car on a trailer(~4,500lbs) it the next day 160 miles and back two days later. I didn't have the trailer assist brakes, so all the braking was done by the truck. Needless to say they had performed better than expected. Not a single squeal there or back. This is with the trailer attached! Without the trailer the truck can nearly stop on on a dime. The brakes are very responsive, and have excellent initial bite. I honestly can say if you're brake heavy, these pads may not be for you. They're a bit of an aggressive pad, and if you're hard on the brakes you may slam your face on the steering wheel. Always make sure you have flushed your brake fluid when changing brakes. Brake fluid can absorb water over time causing your brake pedal to not feel as firm. I would 100% buy these pads again.

Replaced factory pads on 2011 Titan Pro 4x. They are indeed quite and stop the truck fine but have no better stopping power than factory pads. Installer said he was glad I got ceramic pads.

I work on my vehicles n have replaced a lot ofbrakes pads n disc rotors. These were for my truck rear tires, the quality is top of the line n would purchase bosch pads again
