Performance above OEM
Cross shopped these with the Denso Iridium Long-life (SKJ20DR-M11) and NGK Laser Iridium (1ZFR6K11) spark plugs for a 2004 Honda CR-V. The differences were subtle, but quantifiable. The Denso Iridium Power spark plug (this IK20L) is designed to improve performance and features the smallest diameter center electrode (0.4mm). The other designs emphasize long life and OEM style and fit, not necessarily increased performance over OEM. When I pulled the stock NGK Iridium spark plugs (at 105K miles), they looked pretty good considering the time and mileage on them. With these Denso Iridium Power plugs installed, the Honda runs more smoothly but, truth be known, with no discernible increase in actual performance. That's fine, since they are all about the same price anyway. And I like that there is at least the potential for improved performance. Bottom line: I'm happy and so is the Honda.

Suspicious Denso Labeling & Poor Packaging
Very disappointed. The advertised picture shows an original Denso type plug with words including "Japan" engraved around the metal collar of the plug along with blue painted lines to indicate Japanese origin. These plugs have "Assembled in the US with Foreign Parts" engraved around them with no blue lines which could mean made in Russia, China, India, or ???. The plugs were packaged poorly; just a brown envelope to where the plugs were falling out of their boxes and poured out in one big mess. I gave three stars for the expedient delivery and no broken plugs. I've read too many stories about possible counterfeit plugs, so I returned them. Still trying to figure out how to get official "Made in Japan" plugs for quality assurance sake, but realize counterfeiters can put those markings on them as well :(

Tiny Things With Power
Bought a pack of 6 to replace those came with my Acura MDX which already runs at over 100K miles, the OEM Plugs SKJ16DR-M11 Denso Iridium Long Life. These tiny little things work perfectly fine. My first impression is that they make my car start up at ease and the engine rotates so much quieter. Performance seems to improve with better acceleration. I will watch the mileage and update this again. I am very happy with these plugs. Recommend these as they worth every penny!

Put them in my 2002 Civic. INSTANTLY runs smoother, rough idle gone. Mild performance increase. Its still just a Civic ;)

Package was poorly packaged and the item was defective probably from knocking against each other.
