Ambi ToysTwin Rattle, Baby Rattle Toy, Ages 6 Months Plus

If you have children/grandchildren and you have not seen this toy, let me tell you they are missing out big time. We bought one for our own children 30 years ago and now we have bought one for our grandson. It is a deceptively simple little thing. It is a rattle that is nice to touch and feel - and it moves! The two little suns rotate around each other and make a pleasant, quite gentle rattling noise as they move. When my son posted the pic of our six-month old grandson chewing on the edge of the toy, my daughter went quite gooey and said she remembered having it when she was little as well! I also used to keep one in my office so then when clients with small babies came to see us, if the baby was fretful we would immediately bring out the rattle and it always worked at keeping them quiet!

A deceptively simple rattle that features two smiling faces, bright and appealing to young eyes. There is a very gentle/quiet rattle sound, a bit like ten grains of rice sound in a cup, but a louder noise is generated when the two suns move around each other, interlinking their cogwheels and moving freely and without interruption clockwise or anticlockwise.The suns are connected via a hard plastic spanner-type thing that holds them together at the correct distance and appears made of the same hard plastic as the suns. They feel hard wearing and long lasting, even if they are used for teething/gnawing.The combination of teething device and quiet/loud rattle with movement is very good and deceptively simple, providing lots of entertainment.

From the moment we unwrapped this, myself, my teenage daughter and my 10 year old, were passing it around the table as we were finding it very intriguing. nice little toy. It does not exactly rattle much, I think there are a few beads in the centre columns of the stars but you cannot really hear them as the clacking sound caused by the rotations is louder but it still is noisy enough and interesting enough for any baby. My friend came over with her 8month old and sure enough both she and the baby were enamoured by it.It's a simple enough little thing but everyone finds it very intriguing. Great little toy.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a brightly coloured rattle which goes round in a circular motion when little hands move the two sunshine faces (see video). They are intertwined and are endlessly fascinating.The rattle sound itself is gentle and does not jar and the bright smiley faces encourages baby to smile too. The rattle is lightweight, sturdy and portable and it arrived in a robust cardboard outer: ideal to give as a gift.Appealing to the senses, this also encourages hand to eye co-ordination, manual dexterity and cause and effect.

Despite having a number of rattles and jingly toys to play with, this is my little one’s favourite rattle. It is great for hand-eye coordination and fine motor skill development as little one can manipulate it to make the suns move around and the smiley faces turn. It also stimulates their senses as there is the sound of the rattle, the sight of the turning smileys and there is also the feel of the bumps that are the suns’ rays. Simple but great fun for baby.

This a great rattle. It is bright, strong and really appealing to play with.The suns rotate around, interlinking as cogs, and as they turn the rattle sounds. It feels very sturdy - the rotating mechanism feels simple and strong, so I don't think it will break, even under some force. And it was an instant hit in our household - I'd thoroughly recommend it.
