Good looking fan for smaller spaces
Purchased this without seeing it in person as it had the look we wanted for our basement. I added this to an area that was well lit which is why I don’t mind that the light brightness is dimmer than I would’ve wanted. Installed this in under an hour. This particular install did not have a light switch to turn this on and the remote control works perfectly. Only concern with the remote is that it is tiny ( could go missing and that the instructions are also tiny and could go missing). If you like the look and have a room that doesn’t NEED the light then this is a great smaller fan.

Great Fan. Light is perfect for a medium sized room
I finally found a fan I like! Love the style, the size, and the light, actually. I was concerned when I read the reviews indicating the light was too dim but, as you can see, it is perfectly bright for this room (about 12x14 ft). It works really well, and it’s very quiet at at full speed. The remote and its buttons are a bit unpredictable though and, on the slow fan setting, it makes this clicking noise that I truly hope we can fix because that’s our preferred setting . I’ll post an update once we do fix it (or don’t). REVISED: The clicking sound fixed itself. We installed a second fan (52 in) in our family room where it does not look as bright, but it still is an excellent, modern, low profile fan

Good Fan for Low Ceilings
Nice looking, quiet and well performing fan, that seems to be of good quality. Appropriate for relatively low ceilings. My only gripes are (1) no timer function to, for example, turn off fan at night after a set time (2) dimmable light is nice but could be brighter, and (3) remote control is black and for most homes white would look better. Despite these issues I bought another!

Nice and quiet!
I installed this fan on Easter weekend and we are now approaching Christmas. My main concern in choosing a fan was the potential noise because I prefer a silent room to sleep in. This fan is great. There is obviously air noise if it's turned up high, but lowering it at night keeps the air moving enough to feel it and reduces the noise significantly. Every now and then there is a clicking that happens that is caused from the wires for the light hitting the blades. I just need to open it up and secure them out of the way which I haven't done. The light isn't super bright so beware if you are wanting that. I am a little concerned about how to replace the donut looking light bulb when it's time, but not enough to research it yet. The installation was easy peasy once I replaced the electrical box to be fan supported (replacing the box is a different story.....check into that before you tear things apart!) I would recommend this fan to anyone!

Ugliest and worst fan I’ve ever bought
I expected a hunter fan would be a quality buy but that’s not the case. I bought two of these for two guest rooms. The ceiling heights in the rooms are 8’ and the rooms are smaller so I was looking for a smaller low profile fan. Yep, hunter hit those two requirements and that’s where it stopped. First, every fan blade or the motor wobbles. Tried to adjust each blade and nothing works. Second, before buying look at the motor base measurements. It’s enormous and something I didn’t even consider until I had them hung. No joke they look like freshly cut tree stumps. Third, the black remotes have two buttons. Light on or off and fan. No adjustment for brightness. And the black remote when mounted next to a white light switch looks like garbage. I wish I could return these but I missed the return window. bought during a remodel and they say for over a month before I installed them. Complete waste of $200 x2. Already ordered two new fans to replace these

Good looking design, quiet, and bright light fan
First attraction: The design, Second: Minimal noise, and Third: The light is bright. I first wondered the same thing as other reviewer why the light is not bright enough, but took me a couple hours to google for way to adjust the brightness, I'm stumbled on a reviewer who found the solution by press and hold the light button, it will change the level of brightness. So, manufacturer please include a full and clear instruction to operate this fan. Overall it function well so far. will have to see how long it'll last.

Louder than it should be, but very stylish
It’s a nice looking fan with some fatal flaws. Personally, I don’t mind the beeping as so many hate, but it could be quieter for sure. I can’t believe there isn’t a built in option to turn it off and would hope with all the other comments that Hunter takes this in to consideration. The fan puts off a good amount of air, especially on high. Know that this is a HEAVY fan. You need a proper box or to install one of those boxes that hand screw in between your joists. DO NOT attempt hangin this without a proper box. The color and shape of it is nice and modern and this model works great if you have 8’ ceilings. It was surprisingly hard to find an affordable, close mount, matte black fan. The wood blade option is pretty too. Perhaps the biggest issue I have with this otherwise really pretty, sturdy fan is: it is nowhere near whisper quiet like the Hunter we replaced—or any of the others we have. I can hear this in the other room with both doors closed. It’s not horrifically loud; I’m living with it. But it’s annoying enough to wake up to from another room because of the vibrational sound. Had it not taken forever to find a black, modern fan without a down pole, I’d totally be returning it. If this is on a different floor from your bedroom/other side of the house, or if it’s in a room where you have sound (tv, music etc) regularly, totally go for it. If you have sensitive ears (maybe an Autistic child or such) or will be sleeping with this in your room-skip it.

The fan is impressive, and as a Mechanical Engineeer wants to provide my version on the pros and cons. The pros: - The reliable, highly respected by customers, the HUNTER brand; - Low profile, modern and sleek design by the US engineers (pros), but manufactured in China (cons); - Price is attractive (I bought by promotion, the Amazon adjusted all my three purshased fans to the promotion price), the competitors are more expensive; - Reversible rotation by pressing the button (more than 3s on fan logo) on the remote control; - Reversible blades. One colour from the one side of the blades and another colour (depends on model) from the backside of blades; - Three speeds, easily changeable by the remote control; - The remote control isn't bulky and have the right small size; - The beep option (can be swithched off) can be helpful for seniors to confirm switch off/on fan/light, reduce&increase speeds/reverse rotation etc.; - The LED lamp is amazing, it was designed specifically by the Hunter engineers. As a result it's a high quality, fits very well, and it's dimmable. But in the case of replacement, you have to buy/find from the Hunter company (cons); - The light/fan can be switched on/off from your wall switch/or your remote control; - Th fan is silent, no any noise at third speed; - Easy installation, easy manual (as per my point of view). The cons: - The packing is the biggest issue. during the shipping the rotation drum/electric motor wasn't properly fixed/packed. As a result of shaking unproper shippment, the rotation drum/electric motor are getting missligned (I think bearing missalignment). Many customers are considering mistakenly this particular issue as a wobbling (it a cause of the main issue). The balance kit can't fix this problem and it can be dangerous due a motor overheating, increasing wobbling effect and potential crush, fire etc. Also, I believe the extra inspection in the Chinese factory is required to check a proper allignment/rotations before the shipments; - Three speeds are very good, but I want to see the same model with more speeds; - As I mentioned, this fan is manufactured in China, and my recomendations to check everything very carefully before installation; - In the case of LED lamp malfunction/replacement, you have to buy it from the Hunter Company. So, overall my rating on this fan is 4.7-4.8 out of 5. Recommend it.

We had to buy this one because of low ceiling in my bedroom basement and wow, did we purchase the perfect one. It’s sleek, beautiful, modern, and who complained aboyt the noise level??? It’s zero, niet, nada, no noise. It’s hanging almost in our face and at night when I wake up I think it stoped by itself because there is no noise…..but the draft remindes me it’s still On. :-) First time we have a ceiling fan with a remote control and man, it’s great. Of course I won’t depend on the light to be my main light source because it’s a touch not strong enough but really, I’m just trying to find a flaw and not successfully. Worth thr money. Love it.

It is a nice color, good size and easy to install. A feature that is not mentioned is the feedback "beeps" on the fan for when the remote is used at each function, this can be turned off as well. Noise level of the motor itself at the slowest speed has a slight hum, otherwise a good unit.
