As good as OEM
OEM has been unavailable for months so I went with an Oregon product. They’ve been around a long time and I’ve used their chains before. It works as well as the original bar that came with my 251.

Nose wheel seized on first use.
Installed on my Stihl MS250, fit and finish looked great. Handled and cut well for about 30 minutes, then the saw quit. Discovered the the nose wheel had completely seized. Oiling system was working fine. Put the banged up old Stihl Rollomatic bar back on and was able to finish. Very disappointed.

warped like a wet noodle after an hour of use
I bought this bar two months ago so my chainsaw would be ready to go when cool weather came. After 1 hour of use, and probably sooner because the saw was cutting like crap after the second cut, I quit for the day from sheer frustration. This morning I took the bar and chain off the saw and discovered the bar had separated at the midpoint, which allowed the bar to warp like a wet noodle, No wonder I couldn't get a straight cut! Return window closed after 30 days. Impossible to find any warranty info on seller's website or amazon. My last Oregon bar lasted 7 years and I have now put it back on my saw so I can cut some wood. Oregon used to be a good brand, but now I find on the product info that this bar was made in China.

No Grease Hole for Sprocket
I don't understand why the manufacture doesn't put a hole in the tip to grease the sprocket. I've used this new bar for maybe ten minutes and had it freeze up completely. My only option is to try and get grease into the sprocket bushing from the end where the chain rides on. NOT very effective.

Control cut oregon
No grease hole. The hole reason I bought it was the top on my old stihl bar wore out. But before I used it I worked grease into it. Guess I will have to do that every few tanks. But so far seems like a sturdy bar will see how many cords I get from it. The advance cut bar has a grease hole.

This bar failed
My husband bought this in July 2019 and has only used it for about 50 hours since then. While sharpening the chain he noticed a bend in the bar; when he removed it from the powerhead, he saw that the bar had separated. He just got a Stihl bar to replace it.He’s very disappointed.
