L'Oreal Paris Advanced Hairstyle LOCK IT Extreme Style Gel, 5.1 fl; oz.

This is by far the best hair gel that I have ever used in my 77 years!!! Use a very little and it holds like nothing else it. It lives up to its name “ LOCK IT”. Even if you mess up your hair just wet your comb or brush, and comb again and it will lock it again!!! Even the next morning!! Just wet your comb or brush. And it will lock it again. It is light and not heavy or greasy. There is one problem with the tube which has round flat top so it can stand in the medicine cabinet so it takes up less space in the cabinet. The flat tube cap snap locks. However, the inner seal at the tube gel outlet does not seal well so the gel leaks into the cap??? When you open the cap, the whole round cap is full of the gel. It is messy and you waste gel. It may be a cap design problem or a quality control manufacturing problem. However, the gel does LOCK IT!!!

I liked the feel of this product, consistancy, and how it feels on my hair. It's not heavy, nor does it leave my hair with flakes, or looked caked in hair. It has a nice smell, not too heavy. But, it last throughout my day. It keeps my hair in place, I only use this gel. It deserves the 5 stars. And, I refer it to people I know.

I've used this product for awhile, but I just started subscribing to the Amazon delivery service instead of going to my local drug store for it. for under $5, I can't find a better pickup for my needs. It's definitely not the best product out there, and it's slightly annoying that you can't get a larger bottle, but for the price it's quite good. It's definitely not for everyone. If your hair reaches your neck, this is definitely not the best option for you, even for the low price. It's flaky if you use too much and hurts to comb out if you use too much. Since I have shorter hair, it's not the worst experience in the world to comb out. It's definitely not comfortable, but it's worth it for the hold if that's your biggest need. I don't know why they market it towards longer hair in some of the photos, because I can just imagine it being so uncomfortable. But if you know what you're getting into, this is definitely a solid pickup that is worth a month to month subscription.

I ordered this product for my toddler and it works great! The smell is amazing and I have since gotten the hairspray that matches with it. East to apply and wash off at bathtime. The hold definitely lasts even though long days at daycare! I will definitely be buying it again. A quarter size amount is perfect for our needs and the hairspray is just the finishing touch! Absolutely recommend this product!

Perfect and long lasting hold. Pleasant scent. Great for hard to hold curly hair. Works better than those high priced studio brands a a fraction of the cost. Warning: do not mix this up with items of similar title from the manufacturer as they are completely different in terms of hold ability. Tip: If you think the thickness of the product is too much, mix it with a dab of water on your palms before applying to hair. The hold still remains firm all day.

Used a small dab, less than dime size, and while the hold was great it's way too smelly for me. I don't want a hair product that tells everyone within 20 feet that I'm using it so won't be using it again.

Before trying this gel, I've been using the corresponding spray version from L'Oreal for years. After using this gel for several months, I'm never going back to the spray. This gel smells so much better, it's clearly a different scent. Also the spray used to make breathing difficult and basically burned my nose, because that's what sprays do... This gel holds at least as well as the spray of corresponding strength. I understand gel won't work for everyone, especially longer hair types. But if you have short or medium hair, this gel will work well, smell nice, and not have you inhaling fumes. Wish I had switched sooner.

I used this on my 4 year old son. He wanted to show off his "hairstyle" to his girlfriend in daycare. It wasn't sticky or greasy at all upon application. When he came home, his hairstyle was surprisingly still intact. Normally, other gel brands would wear off especially on a 4 year old who runs around at the playground, sweats, and naps. We also live in Fort Lauderdale, FL so the heat and humidity doesn't always work in our favor when it comes to our hair. I'd say this product has withstood the harshest treatment... a 4 year old boy living in a hot and humid environment.

I was hoping to find a strong hold gel like L'Oreal party proof gel but this stuff was not the same. Weak hold. Smells ok.

Fijación flexible y sin reciduos o sensación de crema en el cabello. No es el más barato pero lejos de ser el más caro y no le pide nada a otros productos de 3 veces más su precio. Lo seguiré comprando definitivamente.

El producto bien pero sobre etiquetan con etiquetas de papel y si lo usas en el baño o se moja la etiqueta se hace horrible y se va deshaciendo poco a poco hasta dejar solo pregunto. No es un producto cuando menos deberían poner etiquetas adecuadas.
