After 6 months one doesn't work
After 6 months, and after very little use, one of these batteries no longer charges.

Work great, tight fit.
OEM Makita replacement batteries are outrageously overpriced. I chose these as a much cheaper alternative. They seem to work just fine (we'll see over the long term). My only criticism is that the are a bit of a tight fit, so it takes some effort to remove them.

Only charged once
I only got one charge out of each battery before they stopped accepting a charge again. Oh well, it was too good to be true.

One battery is dead after less than a year
Went to charge one of these and got a failed battery LED. Haven't even owned it a year and has had minimal use.UPDATE 8/2021: Now the second battery is also showing a charging error. The original Makita batteries are still working just fine, so these are clearly of lower quality.

Cheap battery but not Makita fit
Good battery OEM replacement for Makita but slightly malformed. Couldn't remove easily from charger or drill. Used packing knife to shave plastic as release button only half works.

Makita 18v replacement battery
I have found these batteries to be of good quality and do what they are supposed to do.Recommend them to anyone seeking more batteries which is what I bought these for.

BOTH DEAD WITHIN A YEAR
Both dead within a week of each other and they were purchased less than a year ago. 11 months actually.12 mo. now, tried to recover them because they read 18V at the terminals but the Makita charger refuses, DEAD.Amazon Says Currently Unavailable THANK GOD. These are POS.

Great Alternative, At First
These batteries worked just fine in all my Makita tools and chargers, until 6 months later... Beware.
