Big Bang Theory, The: The Complete Sixth Season (DVD) The CalTech geniuses of The Big Bang Theory return for season six after being thrown for a bell curve in the phenomenally funny fifth season of the hit show. In “TV’s top-rated comedy” (New York Post), Leonard has to “debug” his relationship with Penny once more after accidentally proposing to her in the heat of the moment, while Sheldon, Howard, and Raj continue to discover the feminine mystique is something that cannot be easily graphed or calculated. With even greater personal contact with his not girlfriend but “friend-who-happens-to-be-a-girl” Amy Farrah Fowler, Sheldon might have to make even more begrudging amendments to his “Relationship Agreement” while Raj continues to look for a girl as nice as Siri, and Howard gets ready for splashdown in both his NASA space travels and wedding to the spirited Bernadette. Review: The best comedy, ever - This review applies to this and every previous season of Big Bang, and since many others have lauded its praises I'll keep it short. The show is consistently funny, the script smart and often surprisingly nuanced, the direction superb and the acting - from every one of the cast - pitch-perfect. And the science is remarkably accurate. My wife and I own all the existing seasons on DVD and have watched them from Series 1, Episode 1 all the way through several times... they just never get old. In addition to the often hysterical humor, the developing dynamics between the characters - especially after Bernadette and Amy joined the show - are both funny and often very touching. In particular, the relationship between Leonard and Penny is at times actually quite moving in its sweetness and depth, and you really WANT these two to stay together (they're the loves of each others' lives, despite their differences). Similarly, there are moments of genuine tenderness between Sheldon and Amy which catch you unawares amid the humor. It's a quirky, original, smart, fun show where you learn to genuinely love and care about the characters, and the script-writing has kept it surprisingly fresh for all these years. If I could pick a single sit-com to take to a desert island, I wouldn't hesitate: Big Bang Theory is my favorite TV comedy of all time. Long may it run. Review: Wonderful Show! - Maybe it's because I'm a computer guy (read: nerd) who likes World of Warcraft and other games. Maybe it's because I'm dating a gorgeous woman who is the girl of my dreams. Maybe it's because I wish I was as smart as Sheldon and had such little regard for what others think of me. I don't know what it is... but this show is probably my all-time favorite. The interaction between the characters is more complex than what appears at the surface level, and the chemistry between them all if fantastic. The writing is done very well, the jokes are clever and the dialogue is always interesting. If you watch some of the extras and see the actors not in character, you really gain an appreciation for how good they really are. Wonderful show... great props... great writing... great acting... great sets... always entertaining and funny. Also, I love how they're eating all the time... that's pretty much when you interact with your friends the most.

Great product.
I don't really ever leave a review, but in this instance I will. The DVD came early and almost in new condition. I am overly satisfied with what I received and I also found out that the seller is Goodwill, so my purchase went to help mankind.

AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is a show that I did not want to jump on the band wagon for since every time I had done so at the time with a show it was cancelled. But then I ended up watching two episodes on TBS and fell in love laughing out loud. The next few days after that I bout the first three seasons and was hooked. Not only is the show consistently funny it never lacks for heart and the characters are as engaging in the sixth season as the first. Every new character has brought a greater depth to the series. if you want a show that never disappoints and can make a bad day good again I recommend The Big Bang Theory. Great characters, great friendships and a cast that I can say I would not change one of them the entire ensemble is wickedly talented. A rare gem in a world of reality TV and shows that often disappoint. This is a complete series must have, just pick your format.

Watch this show once, you'll like it. Keep watching and, BANG, it's even better.
Hey, what's not to like! I even love the theme song that opens each episode. The characters are perfectly cast; I enjoy them all. The always evolving stories wrap around the daily adventures and love lives of some very socially clumsy yet very lovable best-friend nerds who work as scientists at the same university. They are grown-up genius super-nerds, but their other closest friends and love interests include some simple, equally lovable (and more in tune with reality) everyday folk, especially a cute waitress who supplies the show with a playful hint of eye-candy along with a very enjoyable personality. Science plays no real part in the show, but as an implied back story for most of the key characters it pops its way into the clever and fun dialogue just enough to gently tickle each viewer's intelligence. Appreciating science is totally not necessary, but if you do you will find an occasional joke that is even funnier because of its playful tie to actual science. This is simply a very funny and terrific show. Production values are excellent.
