These are great welding clamps, they have worked great so far and I use them nearly every day in my shop, they are the perfect size for my knife making, I use them to clamp handle scales on my knives as the epoxy sets up and then pop em off and finish the knives… strong little vise grips

Welding necessity?!
These small Irwins are my go to when clamping tubing or angle iron. You can get it nice and flat when clamping. I use them to un+dent areas on thin gauge steel and workind dents out so I can run a nice bead.

Great price on a useful tool.
These clamps were the perfect size to use on building a rocket stove for the welding class I teach. Vice grip quality at an affordable price.

Ease of use
These welding clamps are small but work small intense jobs I do. Welding on small parts is hard enough and almost not possible to hold with hands while they are welded together. I've tried other brands and have had a terrible time getting them release but Irwin clamps are well worth the money.

I would have been happy to pay $30 for it
I ordered this item on 10/23/15 from URL http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00004SBBM?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0. The photo is of the 11SP which can be had for $80. We paid $120 for ours a few years ago. I knew that this could not be had for $13, but was curious what IRWIN was up to. What I received was the much smaller 4SP which is well made and I do have a use for it. I have both the 11SP and the 4SP in front of me now. This photo is NOT the 4SP. In the future I will not Buy from IRWIN VISE GRIP without holding the item in my hand. I still needed the function of the 11SP at home and found it at Lows with the Kreg locking clamp of the same size, no model no. visible. This was $20. and very well made. I would have been happy to pay $30 for it. John Beckerich
