Very nice, compact, long play time. Clean sound!
I purchased the and to use with my cycling helmet while riding so I could get rid of my cable that was always getting caught on my Camelback straps when I would turn my head from side to side. This transmitter and receiver work great, really good range and clean sound and they last a long time. So far I have tried these with my Toshiba Laptop and a set of Cygnet Totem speakers (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Cygnett-Portable-Speaker-Playback-Rechargeable/dp/B004LFEN76/ref=sr_1_sc_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1348808812&sr=8-1-spell) (can't get them through Amazon US, I got mine from a brick and mortar computer store) (hooked up using a y-adapter for stereo), and My Zune 80gb media player with the same speakers and also through my JVC KW-XR610 receiver in my truck, all sound very good.I can see where some people are having trouble getting them to pair, it took me a few tries at first but follow the instructions and it works very well. To pair the Britelink Reciever and Britelink Transmitter: Make sure to turn on the receiver first by holding the power button down for about 6 seconds until it powers on and the light switches between red and blue (somewhat rapidly). Next turn on the Transmitter by holding the power button down for about 6 seconds until it powers on and the light switches between red and blue (somewhat rapidly). After a few seconds the lights on the transmitter and receiver should both switch to a blue light blinking twice rapidly every 4 seconds or so. The units are now paired. If it does not connect on the first try, plug the power connecter in and connect to a usb port for a few seconds, disconnect the power cord and repeat the process making sure to put both devices into pairing mode. These work so well for me that I am going to buy 2 more sets; That way I will have one I can leave in my truck, keep one on my cycling helmet and a spare set in case I get clumsy.Update:I just used these on a long road trip from Colorado to Georgia and they work beautifully. They seem to have a preamp circuit in them, they make my mp3 player sound better then when hooked up with a cable from the earphone jack to the auxillary input on a stereo. They provide a long play time on the rechargeable battery, I was getting about 8 or so hours out of them. You will get a beep tone through the speakers when the battery is about to die. You cannot use them when charging but that is not to bad, I am just going to buy more of them.

Nice bluetooth tx but needs improvement
This bluetooth transmitter does what it says it will, and it does connect easily to most any bluetooth device. So it is a good value in that regard. What I do not really like about it is that if you turn off your bluetooth device and try to re-establish contact with the transmitter, you have to re-discover it, or turn it off then back on to get it to pair back up. That is annoying if you have to go across the room each time you want to use the device you have it plugged into. Other than that it works fairly well. I do also experience audio cut outs (skips) after the unit has been on a while. Not sure if that is just my unit or typical of the tx units overall.

Works Good but could be better quality
The Usb charging cable (included) is very cheap!! but works fine. the battery powered transmitter works great plug into my desktop and transmitted to my bluetooth couch, and sound bar with no problems. The directions are not as detailed for a new blue tooth user. need to hold the power button until (about 7 secs) it starts blinking blue then red to put it in discovery mode, or hold it for about 3 secs just to turn it on or offbut over all im happy

it works...lol
after wading through all the amazon junk to find this...IT DID WORK.. on my tv....plug it in to the tv sound outlet and then connect to wireless bluetooth headsets....you do need a 3.5mm Stereo Female to RCA Male Y-UPDATE 3.21.14: It's stopped working...i guess the battery has run out and this thing does not allow changing batteries which is very odd. Too bad ..as the device does work well with all my wireless stuff(phone, tv,headphones,etc.). the price should be dropped to $5 so you could just order another when one stopped working....but I guess, stiffing someone for $25 a purchase is better than selling it multiple times at $5 each....ahhh...good old capitalism at its finest

I tried this Brand twice; both times bad units, even the Replacement was NOT Functional.
I have been using Bluetooth audio Transmitters/receivers of this type for several years; beginning with the Miccus Mini-jack RX: Bluetooth Music Receiver/Transmitter.I like the configuration of the Britelink units because they are slimmer, and the short cable with the 3.5 mm plug is better for me than the Miccus device that uses a more awkward pivoting plug.I bought from Amazon an "Azeca" unit that looks much like the "Britelink" units and I have used it for two years (knock-on-wood) it still works fine. I wanted a back-up device so I could keep one recharging; so I tried to save $ with the Brightlink brand that sells for about $10 less. These devices will play while charging; but I have discovered that it will disconnect the "link" and need to be "paired" again, simply because the physical connection of the power cable momentarily loses continuity when you move, this is frustrating to say the least. Though it is a good feature to be able to play while charging.I like it when I have two sets (at least) so one set "A" can be in the charge mode; while I use the other set "B". I use the Transmitter and the Receiver units together. One added benefit for me is that I get a potential volume increase of at least 20%.I am going back to the AZECA Transmitter to get a back-up device, the other brands have failed me. I wonder though; these devices that look like the Britelink brand, including, GoGroove, and Azeca -- all look almost identical -- could it be that all of these are from the same manufacturer? Sometimes a large manufacturer will produce many name brands under their umbrella.I use the transmitter on my laptop or hearing amplifier and the signal goes to a $180.00 Skullcandy "Aviator" headphones that has a jack for the 3.5 mm plug. This works wonderfully, more volume and better sound than $500.00 Sennheiser Bluetooth Headphones. I just plug the transmitter in the sound source, and have the receiver on my headphones or ear-buds.Good luck, if you try these Britelink devices; the "Transmitter" has failed me at least three (3) separate times. I get the feeling that I was being "Penny-wise and "Pound-Foolish".Regards
