This is my second order of these tea towels with funky stripes. I like that they are 100% cotton, so very absorbent and keep shape and size well. Quick drying on the line, excellent value product to comparisons

Cotton towels benefit from washing before first use. However fabric softener SHOULD NOT be used. The use of softener impairs absorbency.This set of twelve towels (size 70 x 50 cm) arrived on time and they looked to be very well made. They went through the wash on 40 degree C. cycle with powdered detergent only and the colours did not run.The 70 x 50 cm size is slightly larger than my existing supermarket bought terry cotton tea towels, which is useful, and these are no less absorbent when in use.I cannot draw attention to any faults or lack of good value at all.

I don't have a bad word for these (except the colours which I'm not wild about). But they're really absorbent, decent size and have hanging loops.Actually, I thought I'd written a previous review criticising the loops because I'd thought the labels (which are stiff and crinkly) were being passed off as hanging loops! I simply hadn't found the discreet little proper loops! So these tools are a joy to me every time I use one.

Love these towels. This is the second set I have purchased. Wash well, keep colour as long as you wash with whites, fabric remains firm and thick but I’m sure thats because I air dry rather than tumble dry. Would highly recommend.

I have holiday cottages and over the years have tried many, many tea towels. After the first couple of washes they are really asorbent and great for shiny glasses mirrors and windows without leaving lint. I find soaking them in Vanish powder overnight before washing removes most stains and brings them back to whiteness. For the odd difficult stain a spot of bleach on the mark before washing works well. They are easy to iron and have out lived all my other cloths.

Positive:In addition to the title- The cotton is soft enough and absorbant. The fabric feels strong, and not thin/flimsy like other towels i had;- It washed easily, the stripe colours did not run out; white stayed white;- it ironed nicely too;- designed with hook loops for hanging;- plenty of towels - good value for money;Negatives -- it shrank considerably after 1st (cold) washing: lost 5 cm on length and 2-3 on width! (See pics attached)I wonder if it will carry on shrinking after further washing?!Nevertheless, towels are towels!Good job they were on large size, as after the size readjust, they are now 'normal' size.Perhaps the seller/manufacturer should have added a warning with regards to shrinking.All above combined, still positive and recommend the towels, but be mindful they lose size after washing, hence losing a star from me!
