Dog Still Uncomfortable
I have a deaf dog that fights getting her nails trimmed with all of her strength; I assume she's more sensitive than a hearing dog since our other dog has little issue with her nail trims. We've tried just about everything and unfortunately, this wasn't the miracle we'd hoped for. The vibration makes her more upset than the regular clippers, even though she can't hear the motor. We tried hiding it in her toy bin for a few days, but, if anything, it just made her weary of her toys. We'll keep trying to ease in...

The best there is!
It's so easy to use! It comes with a yellow guard but I discarded mine because it's way too awkward to use and eliminates the hand touch you need for a truly short and healthy nail. The trick is to get the nail as short as you can until you see just the just the first beginnings of a blue but a blood then stop and then do it again in 2 weeks. That allows the quick to pull back more into the nail so that next time you can get it even shorter to wear your dogs walking on his pads and not on his nails. When dogs walk with their nails touching the ground it puts undue pressure on the leg immense tendons on the back of their legs cause the possibility of injury to be that much greater. I recommend this product to anyone who wants to have a pet with healthy short nails. It's an A+ in my book and I've been handling and training dogs for 41 years!

Works fine!
I lost my old Pedipaws somewhere so I ordered this one. I don’t get all the so-so reviews. It works fine! A little louder than my old one, but it does the job and comes with 3 sander belt refills.

Don’t buy
So loud and it rattles! my dogs are freaked out by it. It looks like a knock off. The file keeps hitting the walls of the plastic container that catches the shavings. When I finally got my dog to trust it, it did nothing!!! Just a cheap piece of junk . My dogs nails are the same.

Not Worth It
I bought this to help with the grooming my dogs nails. I have 2 dogs- a Rottweiler and an Aussie. The file stops constantly while trying to keep the dogs calm from the loud noise.I ended up purchasing an electric nail file (usually used for acrylic nails) and that works much better.

Feels cheap
This thing is very cheap it feels like if I squeeze it hard enough it could break and it came in a sun damaged/Faded box I don’t know it they all are this quality or if I’ve just purchased an old model? But it did file my dogs claws so it got the job done.

Didn't hold up.
Worked fine for two uses.

Cheap and poorly designed
I bought this to use on my 5 month old Siberian husky. Waste of money. The motor is very weak. Barely touch the nail and stops spinning. Would take forever to trim the nails with this thing. Save your money.
