PERFECT 5.7L VOLVO PENTA REPLACEMENT FUEL & WATER SEPARATOR
If you know boats, this was the exception and was easy to replace. The value is good to go and worth the time and money to keep your Volvo Penta running well.

Volvo Penta quality
These genuine Volvo Penta filters are a nice fit and construction. This is my first time using the longer ones. A little more struggle with the hoses compared to the short filters. The shorter filters are definitely easier to install. Breaking this engine in after a rebuild (boat also restored) so wanted the extra filtering capacity to catch anything coming from the tank. Will switch back to short version after I use these 2 up.

It’s a hydroscopic fuel filter. ‘Nuf said.

OEM Quality but Hard to Grip
I like using OEM Volvo Penta when I can but this little filter is hard to get OFF once it’s been seated for a long time. The same for spinning it ON. There are no grooves or indentations on the bottom like other filters. Might be by design so you don’t over tighten. I’ll still buy this one the next time just for the OEM factor.

Works perfect and fits as it should. Since we do the work ourselves we only buy the best parts. Worth it even with the frequency of replacement
