This book is well written and seems like a logical way to lose weight. I like that fact that in includes a history and explanation of America's rapidly increasing obesity problem. This "Diet" is actually more of a hormonal rebalancing process (Insulin/Glucagon) rather than a calorie restricting diet. This diet does follow a "fasting" or time restricted window. It also provides a what to eat, when to eat approach to losing weight. I am looking forward to trying this weight loss solution and will update with results.6/21/19 1 week -Down 4.8 lbs finally broke thru my plateau6/28/19 2 weeks -Down 2.1 so down 6.9 total in two weeks. Feels like I gained more muscle and look leaner.7/04/19 3 weeks -Down 5.3 Lbs so total weight loss of 12.2 in 3 weeks!7/28/19 I fell off the last 3 weeks with vacation and birthdays but starting back on it today.

I'm blessed this works for me
Awesomeness and then some. That is this book. It's easy to read and understand while explaining things in a way that makes me think 'duh! its so simple'. I started as soon as I read it. So far I'm a week in and still in the 'use 2 weeks to get use to it' so I have not fully taken out all sugar and carbs (I have a small desert). With as well as it's going I look forward to when I reach starting phase one. I will updated at the end of each week.Week 1 I lost 6.2 lbs.Week 2 I lost 6 lbs (my stomach has visibly shrunk!)Week 3 I lost 0.4 lbs (it's been a up n down weight week. I tried adding things and I shouldn't have. I do feel my body fat continues to lessen even if my weight hasnt.)Week 4 lost 2.6 lbs ( yeah!-! I lost about 2 1/2 inches on my waist! On my 2xl stretchy pants I use to pull it away from me about 1/2 in. Now it's closer to 3 in. So awsome.)Week 5 lost 2 lbs ( body fat continues to lessen. The difference since I started is amazing.)Week 6 lost 2.8 lbs (body fat still continues to lessen!! Comparing my pics from the start til now I can't believe how much different I look. I even had a bad day due to a car mishap and had a large amount of strawberries as a treat one day)Week 7 lost 1.8 lbs (I definitely think for this diet for my body it would have been better to measure my body instead of focusing on the weight scale. Lol I continue to do well, my body doesn't have as much aches and pains and I'm actually finding I enjoy more veggies. If I decrease my food amount I think I'll be able to lose more weight faster but I'm happy with my slow and steady weight lost since my body fat has shrunk so much)Last update- I continue to do the plan but have started just doing one meal a day instead of two. I've lost a total of 27 lbs so far. About 3 inches at my waist and 3 1/2 around my chest. I still get the desire to bored snack but I realize what it is and can fight it off. My willpower has slowly built and I'm amazed at how different I look. Gotta thank the Dr for his help. I never had any good results that lasted and made me change my ways. Now I feel weird even looking at normal food.

Finally, a weight loss solution that makes sense.
As someone who has struggle with weight all his life, I can say this book makes perfect sense to why we as a nation are growing sideways. Dr. Cimino engages you since the beginning of the book. The book will show you which foods/ingredients have poisoned us and how we grew big since they were added to the “American diet”, and how to avoid them. I also love the fact that he is a real practicing medical doctor and explains things in extremely easy way to understand. Highly recommended book. If you are reading this review is because you are considering purchasing this book... don’t think about it, buy it! You won’t regret it. It’s an amazing wake up call!

More than a weight loss book, it's a lifestyle book
If you have ever wondered why America is getting fatter every year, Dr. Cimino explains it in detail. It's not hard to understand. Best of all, something no other diet book does, the back of his book shows details on all the research that was done that supports every one of his theories. It's not just a book of guesswork like everyone else writes. It's educational and informative, as well as darn good plan. I've been on this program since July 6 2019, as of today (August 19 2019) I've lost 27 lbs and am still losing weight. My wife who is diabetic has lost 25 lbs and started about 2 weeks after I did and she is off the majority of her meds. The methods, the ideology, and the science are all solid and easy to follow. No starving, no hunger pains, no feeling like you just want to hurt someone because you are miserable. We are looking good and feeling even better. I strongly recommend this book to the point that I have purchased and mailed out multiple copies to friends and family. Read it, follow it, feel better.

Connect the dots, see The BIG Picture, take back control!
I just finished reading this book and definitely feel like it was well worth the read.Dr. Cimino connected the dots between bits & pieces of information I did know, with information I have never heard before, and helped me to see/understand the BIG Picture. I'm ready to take control of my hormones and have them work with me, not against me! I better understand the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that have us so far out of whack and what I need to do to restore balance so my body can perform the way it was meant to, before man-made/mass produced junk got in the way .I'm feeling optimistic/motivated/excited to put his plan into place - let's see how it goes!Update 2/10/20: So easy! 20 lbs down, no counting calories/carbs, no crazy workouts, my appetites decreased, and I have not had any significant cravings.Thank you, Dr. Cimino, for sharing your weight loss solutuon!

Didn't work at all
With 4 hour eating window, I lost 5 lbs in first 2 weeks, on 2nd two weeks, I lost 0. I took a day off of diet and ate what I wanted, and guess what. I gained back all 5 lbs in one single day. I am so disappointed and sad. I need to lose 15. But after the challenge of being hungry all the time, it did not pay off. I need to say that during my 4 hr eating window, I did not eat more than 1300 cal. I just had protein, veggies and fat, NO Carbs at all. WI am so disappointed.
