Great for eating healthy
We have recently switched to a gluten free diet and while there are gluten free noodles available, I have found that I prefer zucchini noodles. This product works perfectly to spiralize the zucchini into noodles and makes making pasta for dinner a breeze. It's pretty small which is what I was looking for as it doesn't take up much space in the kitchen, but it is extremely well made and sturdy and a great value. The brush that it comes with makes cleaning it a breeze as the blades are quite sharp. Don't try to clean this without the brush that they give you. Definitely recommend this purchase.

I have used it twice so far and it works great. It's very easy to use and clean up takes less than a minute. I was able to turn a zucchini into one giant spiral. Awesome.Update: I have now used this Dragonn vegetable spiralizer and the As Seen on TV Vegetti. The Dragonn spiralizer works better in my opinion. The hole in the center is smaller and doesn't allow for zucchini to squeeze into it. The hole on the Vegetti is larger and as I apply pressure while turning the zucchini, a small tip of zucchini is pushed into it and wasted. Another note: I have found that the cap piece used to help get the last few turns does not work too well. The protruding spikes are not very long and end up ripping through the zucchini. The cap piece on my sister's Vegetti works much better. I still love it though. I have attached a couple pictures to help depict my review.

Very good slicer
Very Cool! As much as I love pasta, I didn't think I could fool myself into thinking that spaghetti-like strands of zucchini would be as good however, I was pleasantly surprised at how satisfying my "spaghetti" in eggplant sauce was last night, replacing our regular pasta with spiralized zucchini. The two ends have different blades. One for "spaghetti" and the other for a wide thin strip, which is kind of cool for making garnishes. It's very sharp, so requires little force to use--something I was concerned about (I have both arthritis and carpal tunnel), but it was actually quite easy. Also easy to clean; took just seconds using the little brush that came with it and a bit of hot soapy water. It's very small, and takes up hardly any space at all in my utensil drawer. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish it were a little wider to accommodate a thicker squash or cucumber. As is, only fairly thin vegetables will fit into this one. Works great with carrots, parsnips, etc. I haven't tried it yet, but I'm guessing things like potatoes, sweet potatoes, and anything else round or over-sized would probably work if it were cut into narrow enough pieces to fit the opening. All in all, this is a handy little tool, at a great price, and I'm planning on buying a few more for friends and family.

Easy to Use
This is great and easy to use. Smaller than I had imagined - only 4" long, and 2-3/4" opening - but fine for zucchini and carrots and most potatoes. For bigger pieces, you could cut them in half before spiralizing. It works very easily and quickly. Just insert the veggie and twist. Once in spirals the veggies cook up easily in a pan with a little butter and/or olive oil. A great carbo-replacement bed for any meat sauces. The other end is a wide blade for strips. Haven't tried that out yet, but I will - maybe to make cucumber rolls (sushi replacement?). Comes with another wide blade peeler, as well, which I am happy to have. I'll be using this a lot this summer.

Good but limited.
I'm giving this a 3 because it has its limitations. The main one being that the vegetables have to be the right size. The second one being the you have to turn the vegetable like you are screwing the lid on a jar. That screwing motion guarantees that I will not be any more than 2-3 vegetables at a time because I don't like doing that. The upside is that it makes fancy looking vegetable ribbons and noodles that are really attractive and tasty in recipes. The price is fair for what you get.

Enjoying this spiralizer!
I used this for "zoodles" (zucchini noodles) and it worked great. I did not use the cap, but instead held the zucchini in my hand while slicing. It is very simple to use and works just like a manual pencil sharpener. I am a safety professional and didn't see any safety issues with the blade design - I suppose you could cut yourself but it would be difficult to do so during normal use. It was easy to clean with the included brush. The one issue is that the instructions were clearly written by someone who does not speak English as a first language - they made basically no sense at all, to the point that it was quite amusing and we got a good laugh out of it! However, you won't need the instructions to make it work. You can't go wrong for this price!

Convenient to store and simple to use.
I chose this product because it is small; doesn't take up much storage space and came with a storage bag and cleaning brush. The brush is important because the blades are sharp. Don't use your fingers to remove stuck food. For the most part it just rinsed off easily. I have used it for zucchini noodles and cucumber for salads. I liked it so much I sent one to my daughter.

Twisted directions...
This spiral vegetable slicer works well with zucchini. I haven't tried anything else. As far as gadgets go, it is not too large do doesn't take up a lot of space. If you've ever used a hand held pencil sharpener, then you will easily figure out the directions. If you have not...well, I'm sending a couple of photos to Consumer Report Magazine to put inside their back cover . If you subscribe, you will know what I mean! The directions are so twisted, convoluted, and poorly translated that you will think that they were put through the spiral vegetable slicer, then randomly reassembled....All kidding aside, this is a useful, inexpensive little gadget I would recommend.

Excelente
Excelente producto.

Works great for my zuke 'noodles'.
Does what it is supposed to, for a great price. Made some awesome quick and easy no-carb zuchini "pasta" last night. All you need to do is wash and cut the ends off a zuke, (don't peel it) and feed it through this tool, like sharpening a pencil. Cut the super long zuke noodles to desired length and fry for a minute or two in a bit of olive oil. Add a spoon or two of prepared pesto sauce and heat through. Much faster that 'real' pasta. A bit of a workout for the hands and wrists. You need to push the veggies into this thing while twisting at the same tume. If you have weak wrists you may want to splurge on a spiralizer with a crank or other modus operandi. Then again, my wife pointed out that I was pushing much harder than I needed to, and twisting with light pressure works. You do end up with about a 2" long cone of vegatable. Just eat it. Snack for the chef. Cleaning takes 5 seconds. Just use the included brush to clean the veggie bits out of the blade under running water then put in the top rack of the dishwasher.

It was a nice inclusion that it came with a peeler
I ordered this item for the intentions of creating spiraled zucchini and carrots, mostly. The product arrived much quicker than I had anticipated, which was a pleasant surprise. The product works rather well for the price you pay for it. However, it does leave a rather large amount of the vegetable left over that it cannot grate, but I digress. It was a nice inclusion that it came with a peeler, but it is rather awkward, as you have to position it in an odd way to successfully peel your vegetables. All in all, it's a good product, and worth how much you pay for it. It seems rather flimsy, but I don't think it'll break easy. If you're looking to make zoodles and the like, I would really recommend making this purchase.

Works as expected
This product is a decent cheap way to spiralize your vegetables. It is easy to use and works as expected. The only complaint I have is that it is difficult to spiralize the last chunk of the vegetable using the guard. If the guard was built to fit into the cone part of the spiralizer it would be easier to use. I ended up using a fork to get closer to the end. Also, the handheld potato peeler that can with the product barely works and is very dull. Not what I purchased the product for though so it didn’t really bother me, I just threw it out.
