Clipping an iPhone into the spring-loaded mount takes no effort. The app is well constructed, launches quickly, and provides a range of choices for configuring the actions of the two buttons. Instructions and usage tips, in the form of Vimeo videos, are readily accessible from within the app. Launching the app and clipping the iPhone into the mount may not be worth the effort when taking just a quick photo or two, but for taking a series of photos the one-handed operation is pure delight. And I don't have to worry about blocking the camera lens with my fingers. Have used 35 mm c macro lens and ring flash. Switched to Sony digital and have access to Nikon digital macro ring flash and this is so easy $99 price is relatively unbelievable. Everyone know iPhone takes great photos but is cumbersome at best and always requires two handsSecret is that it connects via Bluetooth and the thumb of the hand that holds the camera is able to control zoom feature without touching the screen. Images autofocus (wait for 2nd focus) picture is taken with trigger finger. Grip & Shoot should advertise in medical and dental journals.Only negative is that it does not use the iPhone basic camera which is better at auto and spot focusing.Comes in white and black.
