RAK7243 Pilot Gateway Pro LoRa Gateway RAK831 Upgrade, for PoC Raspberry Pi 3B+, RAK2245 Pi HAT 915MHz

I bought this on adafruit. It is an easy build and seems stable. I have it hooked to a commercial 915 MHz antenna in my attic. It integrates easily to ttn the things network. Been using the pax counter app with helped boards to learn this new iot platform.

The RAK7243 is perfect for my LoRaWan proof of concept. It was a bit difficult to setup and I had to read the manual several times to get it right. But well worth the effort. I really like the fact the raspbian image has both TheThingNetworks and loraServer configuration options. This means I can setup for rapid prototyping and then move on to create a private network by using the opensource lora server directly installed in the gateway.The device runs a little hot, but is otherwise very solidly built. I wished they had the same exact hardware but for outdoor.Overall, great device!
