Inspired Comforts Unisex Right Shoulder & Side Access Post Surgery & Rehab Snap Shirt

Having shoulder surgery and being in a sling for 6 weeks is not easy and I know my surgeon and his team did not really prepare me or give me any info on what I needed to purchase to be ready. I ordered one shirt with magnets for closures which works however the magnets are hard to keep closed. This shirt however has snaps and a pull string to assist you, when by yourself, in getting the pieces on your bad shoulder where they need to be so you can snap them with your good hand. It is a nice soft heavy t-shirt fabric and I ordered 1 size up from my normal size for ease of lounging purposes and also it is easier to get on with one arm with extra room in it. You do a lot of lounging after this surgery and this shirt is super comfy. I'm about to order another one as I need to wash this one! :-) Great, helpful purchase!

I'm about 2 weeks into my recovery from a partial shoulder replacement (plus some revision to previous work in the area.) This shirt has turned out to be the most helpful thing I got - apart perhaps from a nice wedge pillow - that I bought to prepare. The quality is excellent all around, plus the shirt is actually quite comfortable (and breathable) to wear for extended periods. The little strap makes dressing on my own much easier and the snaps can be closed with one hand with no problem. As far as the snaps go, I've yet to have one pop open by itself and the construction of the shirt makes it so they almost never contact the skin directly. Also, it does look like a standard (and high quality) t-shirt from the outside. It runs rather big overall, but unless it's absolutely necessary it fit like a standard shirt for whatever reason, I still recommend buying your usual size if you're going for most types of orthopedic surgery (or probably any surgery with more than a few days recovery.) Believe me it makes things much easier and comfortable to have a loose fitting shirt after some major surgery and the rehab that comes afterwards. If not for the price I would have gotten a couple extra for myself, but getting one or two is more than worth it. No drawbacks in construction or design at all

After shoulder surgery, I needed a shirt which snapped at the shoulder and this shirt was perfect. The fabric is soft and comfortable and the fit was great; I was surprised at the excellent quality. It does not shrink measurably after washing and drying. It is very convenient for doctor’s visits with shoulder examinations or physical therapy appointments, as you can just unsnap the shoulder and don’t have to take off your entire shirt. I would highly recommend getting one or two of these shirts if you have shoulder surgery scheduled.

Although the shirt is ok, the cut is very large on top and tight as it gets to the hips. Way too long also, so I will have to alter it before I go in for shoulder replacement. Also, I could not close the snaps with just one hand, I wonder if buttons would be easier as they slip through the buttonhole with less struggle. I will be wearing the shirt to Physical Therapy, and doctors office until fully recovered. However, I will be needing help to close those snaps.

I purchased two different post-surgery shirts for my husband to wear following rotator cuff surgery on his right shoulder. The other shirt was a pain because, even though it had snaps, it still had a shoulder seam that made it difficult to take the shirt off/on with a sling on his arm. This shirt is so much easier to use I came back to buy two more (and they have more room for his 3X body).

I bought these for rotator cuff surgery. They are high quality and very soft. The snaps are a big hit at PT because it’s so easy to reach my are far therapy.

I'd hate to think of the person who didn't have anyone else living with them, and had to get this shirt on by themselves! The snaps were extremely difficult to get snapped, even with someone helping you! Also, I don't think there were enough snaps. There were gaps between them. Also, after the first washing or two, the bottom hems started to roll up!! Very difficult, if almost impossible, to keep them down!!

My wife fell and fractured her humerus bone by her right shoulder. She needs to wear an immobilizer over her clothes prior to and after surgery. She cannot move her arm so putting on a regular shirt is not possible. We cut up a couple of shirts but that still left her skin exposed. We received this shirt a week after she fell and it just works so much better. We can cover her skin and that makes wearing the immobilizer so much more comfortable. I bought two shirts so she can wear one while we wash the other. She'll be wearing these shirts everyday for the next couple of months while she heals. Great purchase!

Very suitable if having any type of shoulder surgery.

I took it to the hospital to wear home following shoulder surgery and staff in recovery room thought it was great and wondered where it was purchased. Washes well. Fits a bit on small side. Would order one size up next time
