Good product, right size for recommended watches. Like other belt holders, this one comes unsnapped when any pressure is placed on it. A few drops of good super glue on the snap mechanism will hold it tight around your belt. I've had to do the same thing with holders from other manufacturers. Otherwise, no problems.

The snap comes undone too easily. ANYTHING brushing against mine pops it open.That said, BEAUTIFUL! Well crafted. With the money.

Although the build is not the best, it works very well. Initially I received one where the flap catch was broken but the easily gotten replacement looks great. It is inexpensive enough to be a great value even if it needs to be replaced every so often.

I just started carrying a pocket watch and I wanted something that would keep it out of my pocket. This case was exactly what I was looking for. Its thin, so it does not catch on the chair when you sit down. The cover snap is covered over on the inside so it will not scratch your watch. If you have an open faced watch I would suggest carrying the watch so that the face is toward your body. It is soft leather so if you hit something hard enough it may crack you watch face if it is facing out. The other thing I love about this case is that the loop on the back is on a snap, so it can easily be removed without taking your belt off. That being said it is a strong snap, so dont worry about it falling off your belt either. All in all a really great case for the money. Delivery was very timely and it was packaged well. I brought two 48mm and one 56mm pocket watch case/holder.The 48mm are still in perfect shape after 3 to 4 years of use.The 56mm has fallen apart. The top and bottom layer of leather are separating and on the top, the leather is falling in pieces. The same happen to the belt strap and it broke in half.The rest is starting to do the same.This case is definitely defective or badly made.

For the price- I was skeptical. But it seems to be the best made one on Amazon despite the issue with the snap on the rear. Which is easily solved with a drop of superglue. I fixed mine before I ever wore it. It appears to be leather- albeit thin, but it fits a size 16 pocket watch very well. So I’m happy with it, would buy again…
