Lightkiwi G4 LED Light Bulb White 6000K 2pcs

I purchased these to use in Malibu light fixtures (outdoor low voltage lights) because LEDs use much less power for the same light output. Unfortunately, they don't list an equivalent light output compared to halogen bulbs, so it is hard to know in advance if they will be sufficient-- In my test, the light output hitting the ground is about 50% of the standard 10watt bulb. To be fare, LED bulbs are very directional, and if I was using a fixture that had the bulb pointing at the ground, I could get a little more light, but that is not an option. I suggest others only buy LED bulbs that list the equivalent wattage or do the research to see how the lumens convert-- for example a 10watt bulb apparently makes 160 lm and these make 120 lm and then know that if you can't have the LED bulb pointing directly at the subject, you will drop to a lot more.

I think they were worth the money, the light was MUCH more into the white-blue spectrum than I had expected. I bought them too see if they had a use for my business. It is best described as the color of a daylight fluorescent light bulb. I dropped a star because the power regulator is exposed. If you have seen the color of solar landscape lights... this is what effect you'll get from these. If that is what you want, you will be very happy. The light intensity (not color) is probably equal to a 5 to 7 watt halogen bulb. Hope this helps.

These LED bulbs work well and fit inside the standard G4 footprint pretty well. I found the pin spacing to be off just slightly so the bulbs took a just tiny bit of finesse to get them inserted. Not a big deal to do though. One thing to consider about these is the light comes off the rounded end of the LED, not much from the sides. This could impact your results. I had to remount the sockets in our outdoor fixtures, which was very simple to accomplish.

Just bought and fitted 2each to try in my new RV, I tried other larger ones from Amazon but they were too big to fit into the holders and get the lens cap back on. These ones are a great price but might be a little dim for some of the puck light areas.. I will test them over the next few months to see how they work out, the pins are a little wider than G4 but with a little squeeze they fit. Hence only 4 stars, might work out to be five.

I bought these after I bought a cheap star projector and the bulb went out. The projector only last half the night with the normal bulb on batteries. I retired the projector to use this bulb and it is not as bright but I have not had to change the batteries in over 3 months while running it 3 nights a week opposed to the half night battery life.My only con is I wish they were brighter.

What I received were not G4; they were G6 but I was able to bend the leads, because I have jeweler's tools, to make them to fit the G4 socket. They delivered them promptly and they operate.

The color of these is 6000K, putting them way into the cool spectrum, almost cold. I bought them for a tight fit into the small fixtures in my range hood, but they barely put out enough light for a night light. Going to find something else. Guess I got what I paid for.• Pin position was too wide for a regular G4 base too... had to pinch.

I bought these on others reviews. I have some under cabinet lighting I thought I would try them under. LED's run a lot cooler than other types of bulbs. I agree with the others. It is a bluish light, but that was expected. What I did not expect was how dim these actually are. These lights will not even light up the countertop. I would look elsewhere.
