are they all the same? If you order two packages, will they be identical?

It looks to me that among the assortment of Mighty Beanz packs that I (seller name Goldpedler2) have in my current inventory,  all the "Beanz" in one package are all different from one another.   In the ones I have in inventory, there are 3 different varieties of packages.  I do not believe that if I sent you several of the different varieties of packages, that any (or definitely, MANY) would have to be replicated.  But - that's if the order happens before I've sold more of them, and you would need to message me at the time of the order and specify your desire.  I hope this makes sense !

can i order 9 packs in one order?

Yes and no, there appears to be a limit of 3 per customer when buying from amazon.com as the merchant. You can check the other merchants for this product and see what maximum number they allow you to buy in one order. I currently only have 4 left in stock. Please be advised that each package varies in beanz you will get, you may get repeats of the same package in bulk orders. I would recommend looking at the various amazon sellers to see if they put such limits on their orders. I hope this helps! Have a wonderful day.

The picture has a Amazon icon stating 4 packs, does this mean that there are 4 clam shells with 4 beans in each or is this another misleading picture?

Clam shell? The picture shows it's a four pack. You get 4, not 16. Not sure where the confusion is.
