These owl pellets were used in my homeschool science class that I teach with our local co-op. The kit arrived exactly as described and quickly. The e-book, tools and guides were so helpful for the kids when they were identifying the bones found within the pellets. I would buy this kit again and again. Perfect for anyone wanting to experience “owl life” up close—in the classroom or at home!

These were the perfect size. Kids were finding 2-4 skulls plus large, intact bones in every one. In addition to the book and bone charts (.pdf), the website has other resources as well.

My 8 year old granddaughter and her mother had a fabulous time dissecting the bones from these pellets which are regurgitated bones and fur from animals the owl eats but is unable to process. It is NOT poop! We found large bird and rodent bones and the pellets came with plastic tweezers and magnifying glasses. Excellent product which they also supplied educational web information for further research.

Everything we need for our class to learn about and dissect owl pellets. The pellets are large and all the equipment is provided, even little magnifying glasses. I especially appreciate their follow up emails that contained more educational videos and materials for this kit! Highly recommend.
