The Best Stainless-Steel Spatula on the Market
This review is for WÜSTHOF Gourmet 6.5" Offset Slotted Spatula Silver/Black. I have two of these now, and I have been using them for years. This is the best spatula that I have ever used. It is very sturdy and thin. It is very easy to get under any item that you are cooking, even foods that are stuck to the pan. Food also slides off without a problem too. The of the spatula is tapered, so I have even been able to cut items in the pan while cooking too. Admittedly, this is an expensive spatula, but if taken care of it, it should last a lifetime, so I was willing to invest in it. There are some alternative brands out there that do almost as good for a significantly lower price though. Originally, I had just one of these, but there were a number of times where I needed two, so I purchased a second one.Side Note:Since this is a metal spatula, you should never use it on non-stick cookware. You need plastic spatulas for those.

Love this
A great spatula. Only one of this type that I have used, compared to standard flat traditional metal spatulas, silicon types, etc- but this works so well, for pans that I can use it on (cast iron, etc). Kind of pricey, but it was top rated by America's Test Kitchen, and I can see why.Sorry it took so long for me to buy this. Expensive, but I expect it will last a long time, and be worth it.

More than a fish flipper
While this spatula is shaped and traditionally used to turn fish filets, I've found it to be a good general purpose spatula including for folding omelets. The metal has just the right balance of flex but yet is stiff enough to hold up to heavy meats without bending. The angled and wide shape of the tip plus the length of the spatula all works to make this a better metal spatula than many of the other spatulas I own including the Rosle 12.6" Perforated Angled Spatula. So far I've used it for cooking omelets, chicken breasts, scallops, and even salmon fillets and this spatula handled every task well with no problems.PROS:About the right balance and feel in one's hands making it comfortable to use.The angled and thin metal blade has the right amount of stiffness and flex to get underneath whatever food you need to turn. The wider tip provides more area for supporting your food item.CONS:The plastic handle is not heat resistant (will melt slightly if left on a hot pan). The spatula does not have a full tang which could add slightly better balance and justify the cost.Yeah, it is expensive. But I got mine when the Amazon price was about what Cooks Illustrated listed as the cost.It is designed for a right-handed cook because of the angle of the blade makes it awkward for left-handed cooks. So if you are left handed you may want to consider the Rosle spatula Rosle 12.6" Perforated Angled Spatula.

Very good spatula for handling delicate food
Flips and turns delicate foods easy. Wish I had bought it earlier. Has a nice balanced feel and looks well made. Highly recommend it.

Stainless Baby
Premium price but it will be the last spatula I buy. I cook with cast iron and stainless steel and this spatula purchase was long over due. It works far better than the plastic ones I was using. To sum up: works much better and most likely far healthier.

Great quality spatula
Great spatula, quality construction. Strong but flexible, sharp narrow blade tip for getting under food. Strong enough to do some light scraping. One downside: the handle plastic does melt somewhat easier than I'd like. Don't leave it on the hot edge of a pan, or you'll get a melt spot.
