Having purchased about 4 pairs of cheaper walking boots over the last 5 years, I can say that by far, these are the most comfortable! I have awkward feet and have a bit of arthritis in my right foot, so it’s literally a pain to find comfortable shoes, let alone boots. I have inserted a small gel heel wedge to raise my foot up slightly so now the fit is perfect. The leather is very soft and the outer soles are a very grippy vibram, almost trainer like in the feel when walking. They don’t feel particularly heavy at all. The only thing is that the laces are quite short when you do them up with a surgeons knot, but it’s a small niggle. Haven’t tested the waterproofness yet but have bought dubbin. Yes they are expensive but 100% worth it! Hope they last!

The Best Walking Boots This is my second pair of these fab boots I have no doubt if still be in my first pair had I not left them out in the rain fir far too long. Previously a fan of Solomon boots I was reluctant to change (my husband has been wearing these for years and convinced me to try them). I can’t see me going back now. They take a bit of wearing in but aged like gloves once done so. Excellent value for money, weather resistance great (I bought the protector) and nit heavy to wear Perfect boots!

Love these boots, they are a little heavy hence why not five stars. Everything else is perfect love style, colour, fit and comfort. They did not require breaking in, for me. Highly recommend.

I bought these for my 80 year old mother after her friends recommended them. They're a spry bunch of old ladies and don't suffer fools or poor gear kindly, so their recommendation is quite a thing. My mother walks quite far each day with her two dogs, all year round, across fields and along river banks, and she loves these boots. I bought her the first pair about five years ago and she's just asked me to find a new pair for her. The old boots are still absolutely serviceable but she wanted a pair in reserve such is her love of them. The new pair are exactly the same quality and are well worth the extra cost over cheaper competitors. They're extremely comfortable apparently and give her stability in all weathers on often very slippery terrain which is even more important at her age. A quality Vibram sole provides excellent traction. Laces appear to be superb as she's never asked me for a replacement. Really there isn't a better boot for the Scottish climate. They provide excellent support and stability and are incredibly well made. Recommended. I hope this was useful.

The boots look great and although I have not been on a long walk with them yet they are comfortable, look really durable and have a good sole (everyone feels better with a good soul). I have quite broad feet so don't usually buy boots online as I sometimes need to go up a size but these fit really well and are roomy around the toes. I think these boots are definitely made for walking and that's just what we will do. Been wearing for a week now, initially felt a bit tight over the bridge of my feet but with gentle wearing in this has improved. Very happy with the boots.

endlich habe ich einen, für meine Bedürfnisse (kleine Spaziergänge im Wald, kleiner Wanderungen, nichts Aufregendes) gefunden; ich habe normal Größe 39; hier brauche ich einen 40,5. Wie er auf Dauer standhält, weiß ich noch nicht und muss erst getestet werden. Versand war ziemlich schnell, Schuhe sehen wie dargestellt aus. Ich danke!

Leider fällt dieser Schuh sehr klein aus so das ich sogar den gleichen Schuh mit 1. Nummer größer auch zurückschicken musste

Irréprochables ! J'ai enfin trouvé la paire de chaussures idéale, après avoir essayé plusieurs marques. Confort, durabilité, imperméabilité, tout y est. J'ai déjà fait plus de 500 km avec, et pas une trace d'usure. Elles ne laissent pas entrer l'humidité, même en traversant des prés mouillés ou des zones tourbeuses. L'entretien est facile.
