This was bought as a joke gift for a Christmas White Elephant party. It came in a 2 pack, and adding both of them would have exceeded our white elephant expenditure amount, so I kept one of them.I took it out of the box, quickly charged it up with the supplied USB-A to USB-C charger and then I went and draped it over the lip of the toilet, under the seat.My first impression was, "my bathroom is now a nightclub!", and the excitement to use the bathroom with the lights off was overwhelming! I looked forward to going in there and the lights would come on automatically, lighting up my once dark bathroom.I don't know about you guys, but for me, nothing was worse than needing to get up in the middle of the night to use the facilities, only to have to turn on the light so you could see where you were going. The worst part of this was waking up, when you were trying so hard to stay asleep. That is now over, thanks to this amazing little toilet light. It comes on automatically and isn't so bright that you feel like you have to start all over, getting to sleep.While the novelty of the "Night Club" wears off pretty quickly, the convenience of having light, in a once dark place, stays forever!It's been in use now for almost 2 months, and I haven't had to charge it up again yet. My biggest concern was that I was going to be charging this weekly, but that hasn't been the case at all.I imagine that if you had children that you were trying to potty train, this might be a great way to get them to want to go to the toilet!Do yourself a favor, get one! Do someone else a favor and get the 2 pack, so you can share the joy with others!!

Very easy installation, like that it is USB chargeable and great as a night light for kids

It's finicky, like other reviews say. Sometimes it goes off mid use, sometimes it comes on when nobody's close, sometimes the color changes by itself.I don't care. It lights up a dangerously dark bathroom at a medium light level that isn't blinding. The colors are interesting too, lots of them. There's one that's both blue and red - a little trippy. I've had them several months without recharging, and until they break, I'll use them in my bathrooms.Oh, fun fact, some of the colors light up all sorts of gunge you didn't know lined your toilet bowl. So, a cleaning aid because it grosses you out so you clean it!Positives all around, except it's a cheap novelty, so when it breaks it's garbage. Get two.

These are neat little gadgets. I have yet to replace the battery and it has sat untouched and used daily for months since installation—-which makes it seem like I did more than clip it on the Toilet edge—but this funky little splash of brightness just keeps on going. Both the ambient light & motion sensing capacity are extremely well calibrated; unless the bathroom lights are off, this little guy won’t turn on. For such a small price it’s a great way to compliment the Phillips Hue Smart Lights in your bathroom, and blends with faucet and shower lights as well. Ever wake up in the middle of the night half asleep, zero desire to tell Alexa to turn on bathroom lights, flip a switch, or even much look where your going? Let alone let in the light! Well when you find yourself standing over the Toilet in the dark, fear not, this device knows how dark it is and senses your proximity to the bowl...when you do crack your eyes to aim it’ll be to colorful yet soft night hues that I choose to let cycle. When you’ve completed your mission and flop back in bed you’ll realize that yes, your toilet was truly backlit with neon hues, and it did in fact shut itself off when you exited the bathroom.
