The guides that came with the expensive barn door for my hall closet were made of plastic, and one side broke off. So excited that these were made of metal. Great upgrade.

I had a group of my son's rambunctious friends go flying through our sliding barndoor during an intense nerfwar, breaking the plastic floor guide that was previously installed (allowing the door to fall off the track and the hardware putting an 8in hole through the wall across the wall..) so I purchased this as a replacement. They fit perfectly allowing me to use the same screw holes. I did place thin felt pads on the guides as our door isn't super wide, to allow it not to bang around (did the same previously as well). Feels super sturdy, love that it's metal. The black matches the other hardware and track perfectly. Great value and would purchase again (let's hope not for the same reason. Nerf wars are now only allowed outside).

The heading says it all. Nice , easy to install , works as a perfect guide. The finish is matte and doesn't call attention to itself. A bit pricey, but it feels very sturdy, and thus is a one-time purchase (for that door, anyway!). I would buy them again, if the need should arise. Also, they arrived VERY quickly, and well-packaged, with installation screws, and even plastic anchors if necessary. Good job!

The plastic barn door guides that Came with my door broke right away. These metal guides are so much stronger and look great.

Item is described as metal but is actually synthetic metal so not as strong as steel but is much lighter than steel.
