Sidi Men's Bindings Shoes

I've been a fan of Sidi Cycling Shoes for many years. My last pair are over 10 years old with 10s of thousands of miles on them. I've even rebuilt parts with replacement parts that Sidi sells. These are my upgraded ones now with the excellent wire lacing system they have. I have a narrowish foot and I can tighten these to hold my foot pretty firmly. The carbon soles are comfortable and stiff. I broke a toe this summer and I had difficulty walking but I could still ride because of my older shoes (I hadn't bought these new ones yet) had carbon soles and kept my toe from bending.

I just received them and they arrived in a very short period of time, they are very nice - high quality - like in the pictures. When I was buying them I noticed that the sizes are kind of weird but I decided to go with my US shoe size and they fit! (I think US standard is very reliable).So, just wanted to share that the look really cool and now when I'm at the mountain I think I look more pro than I really am but no problem I like to look stylish so if you are like me these shoes are for you too. They are very comfortable and seems like they will last forever.

I have several pair of road and triathlon shoes from SIDI. I used to sell them when I worked for a shop. Easy choice when I decided to get back into mountain-biking. Great fit. durable. Even when things fail on the shoe, you can simply get replacement buckles, straps, lugs, etc. I put Shimano SPD cleats on to use with XTR pedals. Very happy with this set up. They get even better as you break them in.

These shoes fit great and are perfect for using with my mountain bike and gravel bike. Also, they are very comfortable. I did swap out the very thin foam inserts that came with the shoes as they did not provide quite enough cushioning for my taste. I did try the Sidi Dominator 10’s first. However, the 10’s were too narrow in the toe box for me. So I bought these Dominator 7’s and they fit perfect in the toe box.

Great shoes. I like the high strength velcro and the standard ratcheting strap. Good balance of rigidity/flex in the sole. Only issue is the fit is small for my foot. I'm keeping them, as I've used them so can't return and can't afford a second, larger pair. I wear 10.5 or 11 men's, bought 26.5, and would prefer 27.5. As with any shoe fit, ymmv...

Great shoes, comforting and energy transfer to the pedals is very high.
