Yup you get exactly what you ask for, which is a good thing in this case. The stone make a one inch cavity which is used as the bowl to place the herb. So essentially you can pack as much as herb as you would in 75% of a joint and light up. Perfect Design 5/5. Also this is probably for more experienced stoners since the smoking technique is different from a joint and if you use the same technique your throat will be irritated. (Try to hold and cool the smoke in your mouth first before inhaling it). But once that hurdle is passed this is the most convenient pipe known to man.
