Nice upgrade from my old Zircon finder
This stud finder works pretty well, and is a nice improvement over my previous version with just the tone and red LED light. The deep scan mode seems to work well under double drywall and behind sheathing, so that is another plus. I tried to also use this to locate roof trusses on my garage to mount something, with mixed results. Between the shingles, the decking, and etc I struggled a bit to get a smooth scan or a clear reading even in deep scan mode. All in all I like this tool, and expect it to work well for a long time like the one it replaced.
