A direct replacement. Perfect.
A replacement for the original wire that stopped working. This one definitely did work, so the dash cam is now back in use.

Good original product.
Bought to replace the plug in lead which I couldn’t get out of my old car without ripping it apart (fitted originally by someone else!), to wire my Nextbase 522 GW into my new car. Cheaper versions available, but some aren’t as long, and I totally trust Nextbase products. Plenty length (4m) to route it under the roof lining, down the inner door seal and under the glovebox/centre console to get it to the 12v socket on my VW T-Roc, which hides the cable sufficiently, and will be easily removed if necessary, unlike my old one! Best to start at the point where you will connect your dash-cam to the mini usb socket on your windscreen, and work ‘backwards’ towards your 12v socket, then you can easily tuck the excess wire out the way. You can get hardwired versions, but this is the simplest, and probably cheapest method of fitting your dash-cam.

Works perfectly with Nextbase mount
Lost my original 12v charging cable after changing car multiple times. The Nextbase magnetic window mount needs a very slim mini USB connector to fit it, cheap replacements are too chunky and don't plug into the magnetic window mount correctly. (Probably on purpose so you have to buy Nextbase accessories) The charger works perfectly with my dashcam, however it's quite expensive for what it is. The cable is long enough for me to use the rear 12v socket in my Audi A6 Avant, leaving the front socket available for other things like phone chargers etc.
