Keep in mind that this is a four-star review in light of the fact that this film was made by a church! With no experience of making films, the quality is not Hollywood, for example, the sound is ropey in places. But this just goes to prove that story is 90% of a good movie. This is a great film, aimed at Christians for the purpose of encouraging them in living out their faith. None of the cast are professional actors yet the director draws great performances out of them and they are more real for being non-actors. There are some truly funny scenes in this movie, some are very moving and some will really inspire you. Well worth watching. It's no surprise that the Kendrick Brothers have gone on to be so successful.

Flywheel acted out by amateur volunteers but you would be hard put to know this unless told. I found this film about a unscrupulous car salesman an excellent introduction into the Kendrick Brother's films. As with all the subsequent films by them it has a strong story line that gently leads us from unscrupulous to righteous favour. All done to an excellent story line. See how a change can be made, how a luke warm Christian attitude can grow into a prayer warrior, a soldier in Christ and check out how this film entertains, without preaching, absorbs the watcher into the plot. Great film for a family session, get the popcorn out.

Although this movie suffers from a small budget and consequently an "unpolished" appearance it's nonetheless worth the time spent to watch it. It demonstrates that it's not only Hollywood that can shoot great, meaningful, stories with powerful messages.It presents a number of questions to the viewer about ethical standards in business and ultimately life, and one's standing before a just and loving God. In the deepest sense it's about God's lordship of your life. Yes, one could watch it solely for the story, and rejoice with the main characters, but why waste a good opportunity to examine your existence before God...If you don't want to be challenged... then don't watch it. It would not be a bad thing if this were compulsory viewing at every business school at every college and university in the western world.

This movie, just like every other in the creator's book, is the needed inspiration and encouragement for the present-day Christian Soldiers of the Cross. As a salt of the earth, you cannot afford to loose your value, irrespective of the "everyone's doing it attitude". If you could just try to hang in there a little longer, help definitely is coming your way with amazing, amazing rewards.The person who will win a race will only be crowned if he runs according to the rules. An amazing film. Fantastic story is all the better when you know the background to how and why it was made. The power of this is real and to see how the Kendricks have gone on to make even more amazing films is an incredible miracle itself. Full of truth it’s life changing.

Great lessons learned.Conveys the true meaning of being a Christian, trusting God and obeying Him. The unthinkable benefits far outways the do it yourself mindset.Love it!
