So I would fight to find something good that not only would grease up my curls but moisturize my scalp. It seems like I got the "new formula/bottle" of this shampoo. Within the first week I noticed a drastic change in my scalp and since then have not had any issues unless it was dead of winter. I do not wash my hair every time with this shampoo and skip a wash every other shower and seem to find this works best for my roots not getting greasy. However, the shaft of my curls are naturally dry and this shampoo will definitely dry them more. I have to use another cleanser when I wash my hair fully for the tips of my hair. Even with this process, it's still worth the purchase to only use this shampoo on my scalp. Smells like older men's shampoo, almost like natural ingredients.
