Easy to install - just snapped right in.

My Hayward weir door was broken and floating in my skimmer. One of the tabs was broken off. Ordered this replacement and it arrived 2 days later. It was the exact replacement and had the foam included. It snapped right into the tabs within seconds. Very easy replacement. Recommend!

The model #'s for this product vary by one letter. One comes with the styrofoam that makes the door float, the other model does not. Don't throw your old wier out. Keep it until the new one arrives. If it doesn't have the foam float, use the old one. As a side note, kids cannon-balling into the pool will crack the hinges. If the pool party is going to get a little wild, I'd remove the door before the festivities begin and replace it afterwards. Solid product and cheaper than your local pool supply store.

I returned a "copy" version of this Hayward part, because I thought it was the wrong size. I read a review where someone said it was just a little too wide to fit, so they shaved it down. It LOOKS like this is the case if you try to install this from the pool side. There is a raised lip on the pool surround side that prevents you from installing it as is, BUT, it fits fine if you insert from the basket side. If they provided installation instructions, they would drastically reduce returns on this product, and the reproductions as well. Works great and is easy to install once you figure out that you HAVE to insert it through the basket side hole.

This door broke last season and I was having issues getting the film off the top of my pool. I found this replacement install installed easily and fixed my issue. Crystal clear Pool.

This was a perfect fit for my pool, note that you must install it from inside the skimmer and it will click into place. This took less than a minute for me to install.

I replaced the original weir door after 16 years of continuous duty. It snapped in very easily.

The weir fits perfectly into the Hayward skimmer. The weir construction is an improvement over the original weir. The original lasted only 5 years but I expect a longer lifespan from this replacement.The wings that make contact with the inside of skimmer were very delicate with the original but it seems that Hayward found a better way with the replacement. You definetely need to buy an original Hayward product if you expect a proper fit.

My original weir replacement had a broken spring tab on the one side. Searched up the part number here on Amazon, this one came up, and it was a direct replacement. Easy to install, solid Hayward quality.

I needed this weir door for my skimmer. It has greatly helped my pools skimmer from allowing floating debris to re-enter the main area of the pool. I had a storm for the past two days here and prior to receiving this part I would of had dozens of leaves in the pool. Now there might be one or two at best. My skimmer basket though was filled to the brim.If you're looking for a replacement or if your skimmer did not come with the weir door I highly suggest ordering this product.
